Weaver is a very difficult matchup for opposing offensive tackles off the edge as a pass rusher. He has the explosive speed to run right by his opponents while also showcasing the strength to drive straight through them and pass rush moves to defeat blocks. Weaver finished last season with 9.5 sacks in 10 games. He has also shown the ability to use his high motor to run down ball carriers from all over the field to stop the run. Lincoln recorded 51 tackles and 18.5 tackles for loss as a junior. Weaver recently committed to Southeast Missouri State where I can see him having a successful collegiate career.

He does a great job of reading the play quickly then using his speed to run down the line and get to the ball carrier before they can get going. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he has proven to be a very reliable tackler, finishing the year with 51 tackles and 18.5 tackles for loss in 10 games. He has also proven to be a very effective pass rusher off the edge, recording 9.5 sacks this season. Weaver is a player who I expect college coaches to be paying close attention to heading into his final season.
