Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Malone was a breakout player last year for another explosive Cambridge offense. Malone is a lean 5’10 175. He is a slick athlete with good body and feet control. Not a thumper, but he plays well amongst chaos and can create positive runs out of nothing. Malone was a big play threat every time he touched the ball as a junior, and that should translate to his senior season.

Malone is a valid runner with a lot of up-side. He has been one of the more productive backs in the southern part of Georgia. He is a patient back with a lot of wiggle on his cuts. He is slippery, and has some of the better broken tackle traits that you could want out of a running back his size. He is an elusive back with the possibility of being more consistent in the power back department with added weight. Easily a name who will make headlines in my honest opinion and evaluation.

A North Fulton running back on the rise, Malone has been a consistent force for his Cambridge team to start the 2025 season. The speedy, shifty junior has shows good patience, burst, and the ability to pick up yards after initial contact. Through his first two games of the season, Malone rushed for 218 yards and five touchdowns. He’s also averaged an impressive 13.6 yards per rush. He runs hard, shows good balance, and brings a promising combination of both toughness and natural speed. He’s proving to be one of the best backs in the area who could see some offers come his way down the road if he continues his giant season.
