Murphy, a sophomore but already one of the most talked-about names in the 2028 class, continues to prove he is ahead of his years. At 6'2” 185 pounds, he looks the part of a future national recruit and plays like it too. He set the tone on the first defensive series, knifing into the backfield and dropping Penn State commit Gabe Jenkins for a loss. On offense he was even more electric, pulling in an acrobatic 30-yard diving grab in traffic while also turning short passes into chunk plays on tunnel screens. His ability to weave through traffic, break tackles, and drag defenders for extra yards showed just how complete his game is becoming. Murphy is already a two-way cornerstone for Clairton.

Jenkins was a difference maker in all phases for Imani Christian. His highlight came on an 80-yard scramble where he broke multiple tackles and flipped the field, setting his team up in prime scoring position. He also ripped off another long gain through the middle of the Clairton defense where he scored. On the defensive side, Jenkins did what high-end corners are supposed to do, flying around the field, tackling in space, and limiting opportunities on his side. When the game tightened, Imani leaned on him, and he delivered.

Wright continues to be one of Clairton's most important pieces. He was active in coverage with two strong pass breakups and an interception that came from staying patient, reading the quarterback, and reacting decisively. On offense he rotated in at both receiver and running back, showing quick feet, vision, and enough burst to create separation or find daylight in traffic. Wright's compact, powerful build pairs well with his explosiveness, making him a two-way competitor that the Bears can trust to impact a game.

Gorman brought an edge to the Imani defense that Clairton struggled to handle. He consistently controlled the line of scrimmage, set a hard edge, and produced multiple tackles for loss. What stands out most is his motor, he goes full speed on every snap and plays through the whistle, which made it tough for Clairton to ever get comfortable in the run game. Gorman gave Imani toughness up front and was one of the biggest reasons the Saints' defense never wavered.

Portis gave Imani Christian a steady two-way presence. As a linebacker he shot gaps with quickness, read plays cleanly, and came downhill with force to make stops near the line of scrimmage. On offense he was a factor as both a downhill runner and a lead blocker, lowering his pads and playing with physicality every snap. Portis is the type of glue player who adds toughness to both sides of the ball and sets a tone for his team.
