We're going to start with the Meck Power 6 Conference, a league that most consider one of the strongest in the state of North Carolina. Comprised of West Charlotte, Independence, Mallard Creek, Butler, Chambers, and North Mecklenburg - these teams will get a lot of attention and a lot of wins this season! West Charlotte will use Kayden as a speed rusher off the edge, and his first step is incredible as strictly a pass rusher. Kayden also has a couple of nice moves to defeat offensive tackles trying to get their hands on him to slow him down. Independence coaches have told me that he will be a contributor for them this season in their secondary, which includes some specially talented players like [player_tooltip player_id='402298' first='Nick' last='Reddish'], committed to Notre Dame. I have heard a lot about this young man from area coaches, and Kaiden is starting to put some impressive things on film against varsity-level players. For us at Prep Redzone North Carolina, we don't start ranking 2029 players until we see them on film at the high school level, but with his power, technique, and get-off at the line of scrimmage, it is a safe bet that Kaiden will be in our initial rankings for the 2029 class. Amari has some college attention and offers, and with a strong start to the season, he should have some more attention coming his way. Amari will have a chance to show his leadership skills for a Butler team that is younger than usual coming into this year. I like his pulling &amp; trapping ability, especially from a guard position. I saw him have a highlight block last season on a long trap that directly led to a touchdown. New Chambers coach Captain Munnerlyn highlighted Rico specifically at the Meck Power 6 Media Day, and considers him one of the leaders on this team. When you take a look at Mi'kel on film, he does a good job of fitting and driving in the run game against defensive ends. Mi'kel can also move his feet well in pass protection, mirroring defensive ends' pass rush lanes and keeping his hands inside with good technique, avoiding holding penalties.
