Region Overview: This region could turn out to be one of the more exciting regions to follow during the upcoming season as you have several playoff caliber teams here along with possibly a couple of them being state title worthy. This region has also expanded, making it very deep with high quality programs that also brings a lot of strong talent to the field. It's tough to gauge right now who the top team in this region will be as I could see that placement going to either Knox. Halls, Knox. West, Powell or even William Blount, who could be a surprise team this Fall. The Red Devils of Knox. Halls returns the top quarterback in this region with [player_tooltip player_id='1102989' first='Amari' last='Lethgo'] and possibly the best pass catcher too in [player_tooltip player_id='1326260' first='Brody' last='Rogers']. Junior defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1294979' first='Jarrell' last='Chandler'] is a star that should be an impactful player on defense and a potential game changer. Knox. West is in transition a little bit after the departure of long standing head coach Lamar Brown. The Rebels are under a new regime now but still have enough talent like [player_tooltip player_id='1305810' first='J.P.' last='Peace'], [player_tooltip player_id='1590259' first='Jamari' last='Goines'] and others to compete for a region title.

When things are said and done, Powell might turn out to be the best team in this region but several parts throughout the squad must come together. They return a veteran quarterback in [player_tooltip player_id='1111032' first='Deuce' last='Rodgers'] that has played a lot of football for the Panthers. The line of scrimmage is senior-laden, led by South Florida commit [player_tooltip player_id='1154536' first='Iverson' last='Garcia']. The Panthers might have the best secondary as well, led by [player_tooltip player_id='1592486' first='Taa' last='Henderson'], Karmaryon Fenner and DeMarcus Huffine. It was mentioned above that William Blount could be the surprise team inside this region as they return a strong senior class, spearheaded by their backfield of quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1582354' first='Jaxon' last='Dabrowski'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1116801' first='Ayden' last='Kline']. The Govs have depth as well. They might turn out to have one of the better offensive and defensive lines in the region along with possibly the best edge rushing duo in [player_tooltip player_id='1705068' first='Jace' last='Boyd'] and [player_tooltip player_id='904858' first='Tysen' last='Dorsey'].

Clinton and Knox. Central are two proud programs that do have a shot at reaching the playoffs this year but new names must step forward into leading roles and shine. The Dragons might have a dynamic passing attack this season with [player_tooltip player_id='904027' first='Jaylon' last='Benjamin'] behind center and him throwing to [player_tooltip player_id='284143' first='Bryson' last='Maddox'], [player_tooltip player_id='402526' first='Braylen' last='Hayden'] and others. The defense and line of scrimmage look like question marks for Clinton going into the season that must be shored up for a postseason berth. Much of the same can be said about Knox. Central. The Bobcats return a solid senior class, led by [player_tooltip player_id='480743' first='Torin' last='McAfee'] and [player_tooltip player_id='853119' first='Jaedyn' last='Harris'] along with a fast rising junior quarterback in [player_tooltip player_id='1104268' first='Kaden' last='Long'] but I don't know if they have enough overall talent or depth up front to make major waves this season. We shall see though! Campbell Co. and Karns might be in-store for a tough season, especially with how deep and talented this region should be. Both teams are lacking in several areas compared to their competition. The Beavers do have one guy in [player_tooltip player_id='1647015' first='Weston' last='Ritter'] that could be a playmaker on both sides of the ball and someone that could boost his college stock significantly.

Overall, this is a fun region to follow this season as it should be highly competitive with multiple teams in contention to take the top spot. Several programs here might have enough too for a long run in the playoffs. I can see at least five teams that have a shot at winning this region but I still think it will come down to Powell, Knox. West and Knox. Halls to take the title. Hopefully all the top players here remain healthy throughout the season that way we are graced with a fun, entertaining region that may not be settled till the final week of the regular season.
