Team first. Hardwork pays off. Play with controlled aggression, strong focus, and high coachability. Competitive, resilient, and dependable.

2024 President’s Award for Academics and Leadership. Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Academy of Construction and Design student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has taught me leadership skills by leading through example on defense, communicating assignments, and staying accountable to my teammates. Football has taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to respond to adversity.

Yes. I’ve had to compete for every opportunity and earn it. I played with heart before size, and now I have both.

I like Mason’s physical makeup to play the linebacker position, first and foremost. Mason has some good instincts in what he reads when diagnosing plays, and when he gets to the ball carrier, he does a good job of tackling and getting them on the ground. Like most young linebackers, I’m sure he’s worked on trusting what he sees and getting that half-second faster into a run read or drop in pass coverage. If he’s developed that this offseason, he’s going to be an All-Conference level type of player this upcoming year.
