Nelson is the top ranked quarterback in California’s class of 2023 according to Prep Redzone and is the No. 2 quarterback in the nation behind Arch Manning according to many recruiting sites.
He has all the tools to be a multiple year starter for the Sooners and be an early round draft pick. He has the most fluid throwing motion of any high school quarterback I’ve ever seen. He throws hard when he needs to and knows when to put some touch on his throws.
Nelson is a better athlete than most quarterbacks and has a really high football IQ.
🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨

Foothill (Santa Ana) tight end/defensive end Patrick Hawkins picked up three offers this week.
Yale, Columbia and Bucknell all offered the class of 2022 star who has a 4.72 GPA.
He is 6-foot-5, 230 pounds and I like him better as a tight end than a defensive end. He blocks well, can break tackles and has speed when he gets into the open field.
Thank you to #LetThemPlayCA for leading the charge to make our season possible. 🙌 Can't wait to get back under the lights in the fall! @GoFoothill @letthemplayca1 @ocvarsity pic.twitter.com/vmurP1YUlI

Texas offered Serra (Gardena) defensive back and wide receiver Rodrick Pleasant over the past week.
Pleasant is a track guy who runs a 10.32 100m and 20.69 200m. Texas already has a commitment from Pleasant’s teammate, quarterback Maalik Murphy Maalik Murphy 6'5" | 225 lbs | QB Serra - Gardena | 2022 State CA .
He has better football instincts than most speedy track guys. He gets out of his breaks well and is a good cover corner.
Pleasant has 17 offers with Michigan, Tennessee and Arizona also recently offering him.
Do you want to see what 10.32 100 meters speed looks like on the football field? This was Rodrick Pleasant of Gardena Serra in spring as a sophomore stripping the ball. pic.twitter.com/f9tR8JZQVz

Crean Lutheran (Irvine) receiver Jack Fairchild visited two Ivy League schools over the past week.
Fairchild is a three-sport athlete at Crean who plays football, basketball and track. He visited Columbia and Princeton.
The visits were unofficial and were accompanied by camps at the two schools. Neither school has offered him yet but he does have a 4.5 GPA.
Austin Peay is the lone offer for Fairchild so far. He is 6-foot-3, runs good routes, is one of the best athletes in the Empire League. He recently caught passes for the top quarterbacks at the Elite 11 championships at Mira Costa. He should garner some more recruiting attention during and after the season this fall.
Great camp and visit today at Columbia University! 🦁Top-notch facilities and great insight from the whole staff! @CULionsFB @CoachRyanLarsen @coachjtaylorjr @Coach_Fab #FLIGHTCREW pic.twitter.com/IZsI3Qu0lv
