HDSU Camp Report 2021

At the Resolute Athletic Complex near Easton in Central Ohio this past Saturday, about 100 8-12th grade OL/DL showcased their skills and talents.  The event featured some of the best Columbus City League Lineman go head to head with drills, competitions, and 1 on 1's.  I will detail the best of the best in these next few articles. <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Columbus Northland</strong></span> DL <strong>Jordan Blankson</strong> 6' 0 210 - Jordan is a stud in the 2023 class.  Long, lean, and athletic he has a high motor which never stops.  Is very flexible and bends well around the hoops.  Has violent hands and uses them to the best of his ability to get arms down.  Challenged and won against a couple OL with scholarship offers.  Jordan has great upside.  Sophomore film below. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/14839062/jordan-blankson">https://www.hudl.com/profile/14839062/jordan-blankson</a> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Columbus South</span></strong> DL <strong>Tyreese Ford</strong> 6'1 220 - Tyreese is really put together physically.  He is a big part of the 2022 class for Columbus South.  He is very quick out of his stance.  He can really punch well and rocks the blockers back.  Escapes easily and gets good separation from the blockers.  Competed against some very good OL and won the matchups with physicality and competitive edge. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/11996542/Tyreese-Ford">https://www.hudl.com/profile/11996542/Tyreese-Ford</a> DL Darnell Berry 6'3 250 - Darnell is really talented and strong.  He moves really well vertically and side to side.  He gets after the opponents he faces with aggressiveness.  He bends really well in drills and has good flexible lower body.  He isn't afraid to challenge himself against the best.  Uses his hands aggressively in the pass rush. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13044435/Darnell-Berry">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13044435/Darnell-Berry</a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Beechcroft </strong></span> OL Gary Freeman 5'11 274 - Gary is a really tough and physical OL with good athleticism.  Very good technician with good feet and lower body strength.  Moves well both ways run blocking and gets to the second level fast.  He will develop better pass blocking technique with the reps this summer and fall.  Plays every play with his hair on fire. <a href="https://www.hudl.com/profile/13642342/Gary-GMoney-Freeman">https://www.hudl.com/profile/13642342/Gary-GMoney-Freeman</a> &nbsp; &nbsp;
