Under-the-Radar Underclassmen To Watch This Spring

Fryer is very good against the run. More of a drag-down tackler who can wrap up defenders in space and flashes great pursuit and range. Fryer, a class of 2027 recruit, takes great angles to the ball. He is also a solid pass rusher who can pursue and chase the quarterback with a high motor. Hutton is a great puller who can move, run and be a force in the run game. Karns is a multi-sport athlete, and his versatility shines on tape. As a running back he has enough speed to turn the corner and be a threat in space. On defense, as a linebacker, he has good closing speed. The Class of 2027 recruit is fast and very versatile. He displays a good first step off the line of scrimmage and can make things happen in space. Morgan has good top-end juice to take the ball to the house after the catch. Heights uses him a variety of ways, including on direct handoffs where he is a threat to score touchdowns.
