2027 Morgantown OL [player_tooltip player_id='1111466' first='Konnor' last='Mott'] has been a consistent stock riser in our rankings since he originally made his debut off of limited freshman team film. He has steadily progressed as a player since then and is quickly garnering D1 college attention heading into his junior year for the Mohigans. A surging Sacramento State (CA) FCS program extended Mott his first D1 offer in May, with more to come soon enough. He's putting in the work at various camps and training sessions to reach P4 heights, and we're confident that Mott is capable of looks from that level in time.

2027 Cabell Midland TE [player_tooltip player_id='1185571' first='Keian' last='Shelton'] has been our #1 ranked tight end in the class since the rankings made their debut, but he makes a big jump to inside the Top 10 heading into his junior year. It's his time to shine on the varsity squad this season, and he can do so at both TE/DE with high upside at both positions. Shelton has the size and athleticism to develop into a future FBS prospect once he produces at the varsity level, and we expect to see that from him beginning this fall.

Huntington's [player_tooltip player_id='920512' first='Andreas' last='Reese'] is becoming a household name in the 2027 class in West Virginia and is ready to have a true breakout season for the Highlanders as a junior. They'll have a loaded skill group once again in 2025, but Reese should be one of their top playmakers on offense after showing flashes as a sophomore last season. He's always a top performer at each camp he attends, and it's time for Reese to showcase his explosive playmaking ability on a larger scale on Friday nights as a junior, which we expect him to do.

2027 George Washington OL [player_tooltip player_id='1616167' first='James' last='Payne'] impressed us with the limited amount of film and information we had of him in our last update, but a full season highlight tape and updated measurables quickly surged him up the rankings. Payne is now a Top 15 prospect in the 2027 class in our eyes as the #3 OL prospect and a bright future coming for the 6'4 250 big man. He's a standout wrestler for the Patriots as well, and it shows in his level of physicality on the football field. Payne is a future D1 prospect in our eyes as he makes his name more known over the next two years.

We've been eagerly waiting on a full season highlight tape from 2027 South Charleston OL [player_tooltip player_id='1154946' first='Morgan' last='Watts'], and he finally delivered since our last rankings update. He's a raw talent with a ton of potential and upside and physical tools that can't be taught. Watts is another future D1 prospect in our eyes and should take some big steps forward each of the next two seasons with Head Coach Donnie Mays returning to the sidelines. He has the size and athleticism to develop into a future high-level prospect if he keeps putting in the work to get there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1326514' first='Hayden' last='George'] is just a consistent player every time you get to watch him in person, and was deserving of a rankings boost heading into his junior year. George is just a pure playmaker for the Hawks, and you see that every time you watch him perform. That's the case in games, camps, and 7-on-7s, forcing you not to ignore his ability and skill level. George had a standout sophomore year in 2024, and we expect him to take another jump as a junior this fall as a top receiver prospect in the 2027 class.

Getting the ball to [player_tooltip player_id='1326514' first='Hayden' last='George'] this season may just be 2027 University QB [player_tooltip player_id='1271395' first='Harrison' last='Helbig']. He's in a fierce battle with Top 100 2026 ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1324951' first='Jack' last='Byrer'] to be the Hawks' QB1 this fall and impressed us in person at a camp earlier this year. Helbig has always shown high potential and upside since finding his freshman film, and continues to progress heading into his junior year. The physical tools are obvious with Helbig, with a 6'5 frame, and more experience at the varsity level will continue to open college eyes as a quarterback with D1 potential.

We've been anxiously waiting on 2027 Bluefield RB [player_tooltip player_id='1154894' first='Willis' last='Wilson'] to post a full season highlight tape after ranking him highly on mostly gut feeling, and he finally did since our last update. He had a breakout year as a sophomore for the Beavers, leading them in rushing and showing a bright future as a prospect. Wilson has a natural feel for the running back position and the physical tools to develop into a potential D1 prospect in the future.
