After a very impressive freshman year, John Carrico John Carrico 6'7" | 280 lbs | OL Owensboro Catholic | 2028 State KY has picked up right where he left off this season. Carrico lines up at right tackle where he is a dominant run blocker. He does a great job of running his feet through contact to drive his man down the field with ease and finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. John is also reliable in pass protection, showing the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers while maintaining a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Carrico currently holds offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Murray State, Eastern Kentucky, Miami (OH), and Hillsdale, and I expect more to come his way over the next few seasons.
