Neuhouser was fantastic this past season for Carroll and not only had a breakout season, but proved to be a steady piece in the middle for them. With good range and elite length, he quickly covers a ton of yardage. He's tough, willing to stick his nose in the trenches, and makes tackle after tackle. His 94 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, 1 sack, 1 pass deflected, and 3 fumble recoveries were a great season, but it's safe to say I feel like he's got more in the tank. We'll see more in year 2.

Reed came in and gave Hamilton Southeastern's running game a big boost this past fall. He's a dynamic back with good vision and power for his size. He can churn out those hard yards as well as pop the big one. He broke an 83-yard run as a long this past season. His 724 rushing yards and 12 TDs were big for the Royals, but I expect that to jump next fall. He's talented, got his feet wet last year, and should be ready for year 3.

Brooks is quickly on track to be a reliable piece for any school that comes and picks him up. This was year 1, starting, but I don't think you could tell, especially as the year went on and he got the reps in. He's strong, good on the move, and fairly nimble. He has no issue getting to the second level to lead the way as well. He was fairly consistent up front and gave them peace of mind on the inside. Brooks will start the next 2 years for Crown Point and by the time they graduate, could easily be the highest ranked interior lineman in the class.

Granberg is all over the field for Northview and can cover sideline to sideline with ease. He's decent in coverage as well and understands how to hand off receivers in zone. He's not afraid to come up and play the run as well and mix it up with the big boys in the trenches. He can fight through blocks to get home as well. His 107 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, and forced fumble on the year were good, but I think he builds on it in year 2.

Gilbert is a versatile piece in the Beford Lawrence North offense in both the rushing and receiving game. He carried the ball just under 50 times and averaged 7.7 yards per carry. He didn't waste his touches, to say the least. He then caught 39 balls for 502 yards and added 7 TDs. Gilbert's 850 scrimmage yards and 9 TDs on the season certainly helped and showcased he can touch the ball a ton and have success. He's fairly smooth and has a good IQ, so year 3 should be his time to shine.
