We got a better glimpse of what 2026 Hampshire WR [player_tooltip player_id='1511445' first='Andrew' last='Loy'] could do this week at the Fairmont State Elite Camp after just seeing him this past week at the GC Expoure Camp. I thought Loy had a strong showing during 1-on-1s as one of the top consistent winners in the reps I got eyes on. He got off to a hot start during testing with a 4.84 40, 8.6-foot broad jump, and one of the best shuttle times at the camp with a 4.37. Loy's short-area quickness translates to separation during his routes with solid cutting and sudden change of direction ability that aid him as a receiver as well. A strong senior season this fall could open the doors to D2 opportunities if it doesn't happen this summer.

2026 Independence ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1136973' first='Sylas' last='Nelson'] can be plugged and played at any skill position on both sides of the ball on the football field. He had a great junior season at running back after spending time at WR and QB as a sophomore with LB/Safety upside as well on defense. Nelson elected to work out as a receiver at the Fairmont State Elite Camp and made some nice plays during 1-on-1s. He has a strong build and the frame and athleticism to plug in at a variety of spots at the next level. That was proved during the testing portion of the camp, where he ran a 4.71 40, broad jumped 9.5 feet, and had a 4.5 shuttle time.

A receiver out of Pennsylvania that I liked at the Fairmont State Elite Camo was East Allegheny's [player_tooltip player_id='1077137' first='Damarjae' last='Warren']. He's a smaller receiver who plays faster than his testing numbers suggest. Warren is light on his feet, which translates to shiftiness as a route runner with a quick change of direction ability in his route breaks. If you don't jam him at the line, Warren will easily side-step his defender as a slippery athlete who's tough to recover on if he gets a step. He was rewarded by the host Falcons with an offer for his strong performance.

Unfortunately, 2026 Tucker County WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1139036' first='Reid' last='Kisamore'] went out with an injury tweak during 1-on-1s before we got an extended look at him, but I can vouch for his ability, having seen him the week prior at the GC Exposure Camp. He made his name known during the testing portion of the camp with the best 40 time of the day with a 4.6 to pair with a very good 9.83-foot broad jump. A strong senior season this fall should open the doors to some D2 opportunities if they don't come this summer as he makes his way through the camp circuit.

A small school receiver who shouldn't be overlooked is 2026 Clay-Battelle WR [player_tooltip player_id='1137698' first='Braden' last='Ponceroff']. He's been a very good player for the CeeBees at a few different positions during his high school career, but his most natural position may be at receiver. That's where Ponceroff worked at the Fairmont State Elite Camp and had a couple of winning reps that we were able to see during 1-on-1s. He has quality length and the frame that will benefit from added mass at the next level to increase his ability further. Ponceroff is a high football I.Q. player who can overcome physical limitations with his knowledge of the game.

A name to tuck away for this season at receiver who may emerge is 2026 Hampshire WR [player_tooltip player_id='1683614' first='Blake' last='Klavuhn']. He flashed straight-line speed during testing with a 4.7 40 that can be utilized and further developed in the other aspects of his athleticism. If Klavuhn can become more fluid and flexible as an athlete, he has potential as a receiver at the next level, but could thrive on defense as an OLB or EDGE defender based on his body type.

I thought the overall best performance of the WR/DB group on the day may have been 2026 Aliquippa ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1156194' first='Qalil' last='Goode']. He started the day as a defensive back, but did some good things as a receiver during 1-on-1s as well. He has potential at either position at the next level if he can continue to add mass to his long frame. Goode had possibly the best highlight of the day, going over the top of a defensive back and coming down with the ball. Goode added an offer from the Falcons for his showing and has since added more, including a pair from FCS programs.

This was the first time getting to see 2026 Woodrow Wilson WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1426802' first='Preston' last='Clary'] in person, and he made a strong impression on me. Clary has a high ceiling at either position at the next level and came on strong as a junior last season. Catch opportunities are limited in Woodrow's offense, but Clary has the size, athleticism, and ability to play receiver at a high level in college. He got reps at both during 1-on-1s at the Fairmont State Elite Camp and looked impressive at both positions. He hasn't posted an offer from the Falcons yet, but I'd be surprised if it didn't come soon, at least publicly.

I liked what I saw from 2026 Chardon (OH) DB Drayton Allgood at the Fairmont State Elite Camp on Saturday. He's a smaller defensive back but impressed me with the contained physciality that he used during 1-on-1s. Allgood did a nice job of jamming his receiver and keeping them from getting loose on him. He stuck to his man well during routes, which was aided by the 4.79 40 and 4.4 shuttle that he ran. Allgood plays the position with sound technique, which may allow D2 programs to overlook his size in the future.

A two-way WR/DB prospect that caught my eye at the Fairmont State Elite Camp was 2026 Albert Gallatin (PA) prospect Adam Pegg. I thought he had good reps on both sides of the ball during 1-on-1s with upside at both. His 4.75 40 and 4.47 shuttle times suggest he has the athleticism to play at the D2 level, while paired with a good performance in 1-on-1s. Pegg looked better on Saturday at receiver as a developed route runner with the quickness to be a playmaker out of the slot in real games. You can get an extensive look at Pegg as a defensive back on his junior highlight tape as well, for a bigger sample size of his ability on that side of the ball.
