The Prep Redzone Combine series made their annual stop in Oklahoma and we had some outstanding talent come through and perform incredibly well. In case you missed it, we put the spotlight on all of our MVP selections from the camp yesterday. Today, we're taking a look at the kids the performed the best in the 40-yard dash. We had quite a few prospects post some very impressive times but these five were the best of the best. All five ran times of 4.6 or faster on Sunday. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more content coming from Sunday's PRZ Combine!

[player_tooltip player_id='1626563' first='Jalen' last='Davis'] - 2026 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Deer Creek

Deer Creek 2026 wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1626563' first='Jalen' last='Davis'] would walk away with the fastest 40 times on Sunday. Now, he tied with another player with a run of 4.5 seconds but his second time was 4.53 and those two combined was good enough for us to crown him the fastest man at camp. Davis had a terrific camp all around and it was our first chance to really watch him in person and up close. We've watched him on film in the past but Davis was really fun to watch in person. And obviously, speed was a very big part of his game and why he had a good day.

[player_tooltip player_id='587270' first='Jerrod' last='Williams'] - 2026 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall 2026 wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='587270' first='Jerrod' last='Williams'] walked away with one of the MVP awards on Sunday after a dominant performance from start to finish. Williams tied with Davis for the fastest overall time with a run of 4.5 seconds. His second run was just shy of Davis with a time of 4.56 seconds. Either way, Williams was flat out dominant on Sunday. And it was good to see because the last time we saw him in person, he was dominant against eventual 3A champion Lincoln Christian in the 2024 season opener. Williams is a very underrated 2026 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='589663' first='Brian' last='Jones Jr.'] - 2028 Running Back - Bixby

Another positional MVP from Sunday was Bixby 2028 running back [player_tooltip player_id='589663' first='Brian' last='Jones Jr.'] and he got his day off to a great start with the 40-yard dash. Jones would run the third fastest time on Sunday when he clocked in at 4.56 seconds. And then we watched him go into drills and 1 on 1's and he was absolutely impossible to contain for defenders in that 1 on 1 situation. Jones had a solid freshman season but don't be surprised if he sees his workload expand this fall and if Sunday was any indication, Jones is going to be a hard guy to slow down.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] - 2029 Quarterback - Altus

Altus 2029 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] is going to be a name to know moving forward so you might as well start remembering it now. Reed played up this weekend and took part of the high school combine, rather than the middle school combine and it paid off. He was very impressive. He was tied for the fourth fastest time in the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.6 seconds. And what's scary is Reed hasn't even done that drill except for a handful of times. He's only going to get better from here. We knew he had a chance to test well but it exceeded our expectations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1667340' first='Khamden' last='Lane'] - 2026 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Altus

Staying in Altus and right at that 4.6 time was 2026 wide receiver and defensive back Kahmden Lane and he is another 2026 prospect that had an outstanding day at camp on Sunday. It obviously started with Lane running one of the fastest times at camp, with that 4.6 seconds and then following it up with a 4.69 but he was one of our favorite players to watch during the drills and especially once the camp went into competition mode in 1 on 1's. Lane was everywhere on the field but we'll go into more on his overall performance in another post tomorrow.
