This WR group features several guys from the Rochester area in what is a very strong year for WRs—the top five are all in the top 35 overall.

A good mix of prospects in this list in terms of what type of player they are. A few undersized twitchy that have legit verified speed but need to get bigger/stronger and a few bigger prospects that flash impressive athleticism but need to continue to develop their body and positional skills.

Regardless, a very impressive WR group in the 2027 class.

Barr is a long, lean athlete at the WR position. He is very smooth on tape and shows on multiple screen pass reps that he can be a dynamic threat after the catch and pull-away from defenders.

Barr runs mostly screens or fades on tape, so you don't see a full route tree. However, on many of those deeper fades, he shows elite ball tracking down the field, the ability to contort his body to make tough catches, and the ability to catch away from his body, relying on his hands, not his body, to make plays.

Barr is one of the more complete WR prospects in the class from the standpoint of his ability to win at the catch point, create plays after the catch, and have very strong measurables for the position.

Collins-Howard is not only one of the top Wide receivers in the state but also one of the top Track Sprinters in the state.

As a freshman, Collins-Howard ran an 11.02 100m and 6.50s 55m, which were among the fastest marks of a freshman in the Northeast.

On tape, the speed is evident; Collins-Howard excels as a deep threat, where his speed can stretch the field. He shows some twitch and quickness both in his route running and after the catch. With so many deep targets, his ball tracking and ability to adjust his route when the ball is in the air show up several times throughout his film.

Walker is a long, lean wide receiver prospect who is one of the best jump ball / contested catch guys in this class. He has some freakish-level jumping ability, and on tape, he makes some extremely tough catches high-pointing the football.

Outside of his athletic ability, his concentration, ability to make catches away from his body, and ability to contort and adjust to the ball mid-air or late in routes show a skill set you don't often see HS guys capable of.

Onukaogu has not filled up the box score as he plays for a run-heavy offense that featured a Penn State Commit at WR1 the past couple seasons, but there is no doubt that Onukaogu is one of the best athletes at the position in this class.

The Erasmus Hall WR has multiple reps on tape where his explosiveness stands out. He shows a strong vertical with strong hands. He may not ever be a 1,000-yard guy because PSAL is run-heavy, but he clearly is athletically a step ahead of many of the top wide receivers in the State.

I don't have verified speeds, but on tape, Onukaogu looks fast and has multiple reps where he pulls away from defenders with his ability to accelerate and his overall long speed.

Levans III is an undersized WR prospect who can work inside or outside because of his ability to separate. Based on his athleticism, I also think there is some quality potential as a returner in his game.

Levans III has elite twitch and short area quicks. I am a big fan of his route running on tape. He sinks hips well into breaks and shows some explosive movements and cuts to separate. He shows on tape that he can catch away from his body and, although his frame naturally has a smaller catch radius, can make catches outside his body and elevate to a high point with the ball.

Edenfield is a talented WR prospect out of Section III. Although he was part of a WR group that featured two FBS commits and some upperclassmen, Edenfield has some quality reps on tape and is a player who I expect to continue to trend positively as his role increases.

Edenfield picked up most of his yards after the catch; he shows good contact balance and the ability to make guys miss in the open field. He has solid hands and can catch away from his body. Although limited overall routes were run on tape, he does show the quickness and burst you want to see from your WR prospects.

Gooden II is a two-way player WR/DB with strong measurables. Although he is a two-way guy, I like his game a little more at WR unless he fills out enough to potentially play at OLB. Gooden II is a solid athlete; he shows good ball skills on tape on both sides of the ball.

Gooden II does a good job vs zone coverage, finding open space and on tape you see him make some tough catches outside the frame of his body - his development as an athlete will help his projection in terms of the position(s) he can play at the next level but he shows some good stuff as a WR as a 6'3 sophomore.
