Oregon 6A Preseason All State (2025-26) 1st & 2nd Team "D"

We are still 5+ months away from the season getting started, but here we take a quick look at next year's preseason all-state teams on offense & defense. Please note a few of the key components as it relates to the selection process which most are already aware of..  5A will be up next.          *If you play for a winning program, you are much more likely to be selected as an all-state athlete. It's even more impressive if you are on this list and play for a team or in a league that has struggled.    *This is NOT a recruiting based list. Molden would likely be the favorite, especially if West Linn can repeat. Vyhlidal and Tishendorf have both been dominant and are major D1 recruits.    Willamette makes the move from 5A to 6A with two of the nation's top D lineman in [player_tooltip player_id='739439' first='Tony' last='Cumberland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1636610' first='Viliami' last='Moala'] transferring in. Both 4* athletes are committed to the Ducks, with Cumberland being in his 2nd year at the school.    Jesuit will have a chance to reclaim their Metro League dominance with a talented senior group back next year. 6-6 210 DE [player_tooltip player_id='770047' first='John' last='Ching'] could be Oregon's breakout POY, along with future D1 teammate [player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] and LB/SS [player_tooltip player_id='777410' first='Roman' last='Mallard'].    Central Catholic's D is another group which should keep them in the state title hunt. LB [player_tooltip player_id='402406' first='Donnie' last='Vercher III'] will be a double digit D1 offered athlete, with the Rams potentially featuring the state's top secondary in [player_tooltip player_id='1585700' first='Cole' last='Thomas'], [player_tooltip player_id='914282' first='James' last='Wade'], and Barlow transfer [player_tooltip player_id='1585702' first='Jaiden' last='Robinson'].    Expect Lakeridge to once again be super deep on both sides of the football, with LB [player_tooltip player_id='1112405' first='Kilian' last='Eddleman'] and Safety [player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] complimenting [player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] nicely. Both Eddleman and Post were 1st team all TRL kids last year.    Depending on how Nelson HS does as a team [player_tooltip player_id='1110921' first='Chaz' last='Katoanga'] could be in the 6A POY conversation. He's already added a few D1 offers and will have other Big Sky & Mid Major opportunities soon.   Last but definitely not least Lake O, who could have as many 7-8 players on the all-state team defensively. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1059015' first='Justin' last='Craigwell'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1234612' first='Jalen' last='Bauman'] to return and lead what could be the 6A favorite heading into next season. Both athletes earned 1st team all-state honors last year among a handful of underclassmen.
