About Dylan
Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
Schrock has steadily improved during his time in high school and was playing his best football when I scouted him during a game against Newton on Oct. 10, 2025. A team captain, the senior recorded a pair of solo tackles, including one for loss, while adding a sack. Schrock stands out for his physicality and motor. He welcomes the contact and wearing down opponents. He separates well from blocks through strength and violent hands. Schrock runs well with straight-line speed. Pre-snap recognition and the post-snap carrying out of assignments indicates he’s prepared for what’s coming his way. Schrock could help plenty of schools on the next level, defensively, with the bonus of special teams’ contributions.

had an explosive presence for Clear Creek Amana’s defense last year, proving critical in guiding the team to their first playoff appearance since 2021. Schrock recorded 61.5 tackles, 11.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries. Schrock does a great job at reading the play and determining exactly where the ball is going. Schrock does well playing downhill in the run-game, showing quick instincts and good pursuit angles to the ball-carrier, making it difficult for the offense to win in the run and short-pass game. Schrock has emerged into a solid signal-caller for the defense, and that leadership should once again be on full display in 2025.
