A little bit of a tricky evaluation. I tried to get a good look at Trenton during Week 1, but he didn’t get a huge volume of carries like I expected. Since then, I’ve watched a couple of Belleville games on NFHS Network, and Trenton has been earning more touches.
At his best, Trenton is an explosive all-around 3-down RB. It’s obvious that Trenton is an athletic, talented RB, but I need to see a bit more consistency in order for me to rank Trenton in the top 3. In a couple weeks time, I’ll absolutely watch more Belleville film.

Foley started at LB, but I was primarily trying to evaluate him as a running back. Throughout the first half, Foley earned a few touches, but Belleville didn’t run it much, and when they did, there were a handful of players getting touches at RB.
I still like Foley’s upside at RB way more than anyone else earning touches at the position. It was tough sledding for Foley because of Clarkston’s constant pressure, but he flashed a few instances of good power and contact balance. He wasn’t able to break away or do really anything in the open field, which was a bit of a bummer- but not entirely his fault. That said, I do really like what I saw from Tenton when he was in at RB. Just wasn’t a game where he had a huge oppurtunity to shine.

One of the biggest rising stars in Michigan. Last year, Trenton showed flashes. At his best, he’s able to easily break arm tackles and earn a ton of yards after contact. Against some of the worst teams on Belleville’s schedule, Trenton should easily surpass 200 yards if given enough carries.
This offseason, Trenton has been hard at work. Putting up numbers in the weight room and proving his athletic ability at prospect camps. He’s quickly emerged as a Power 4 prospect. Expected to have a monster Junior season.

I’m extremely optimistic about

‘s Junior season.
He’s he most highly-touted running back in this class when it comes to offers. Kentucky, Colorado State, Western Michigan, and Miami (OH) have all thrown their hat into the ring.
Trenton dominated a few games last season. In the games that he dominated, Trenton flashed his breakaway speed, subtle open-field elusiveness, and power. I particularly like his top speed, and his willingness to lower the shoulder and bulldoze someone.
For Foley to be ranked #1, I would love to see better vision, and all-around more consistent play. An in-person eval would clear up a lot of questions that I currently have!

Someone who has grown on me, and someone who could see himself at #1.
Already with offers from Colorado State, Kentucky, Miami (OH), and Western Michigan, Trenton is far and away the most offer-decorated RB in this class. Tape (although lacking full-season highlights) showcases a top-tier athletic profile. Against bad tackling teams, Trenton was able to consistently run people over, and power through arm tackles while staying upright. At other times, Trenton flashes his open-field elusiveness, albeit a little more rare.
Trenton is a tough grade. A very quick eye test says that he’s the #1 running back simply based on the school he goes to and the offers he carries. I do think there is a Belleville bias out there, but it’s also apparent to me that Trenton is a Top-5 back in this class. I would love if I had a little more information on Trenton- hope I can catch him at a camp.

I was super impressed with Foley when I got to see him work. He has nice contact balance, a good change of direction and has the ability to hit the jets and pull away.
Belleville has one of the best coaching staffs in the state, and I think with the right amount of ironing out on his skills, Trenton could take that next step. His size is ideal and it seems like he has that killer instinct to get into the end zone. Keep an eye out for this dude!
