Good athletic ability with very good foot speed and explosiveness, good acceleration, foot quickness, lateral agility, balance, hand quickness, change of direction, solid flexibility, and hip fluidity. Displays good mental processing to diagnose and utilizes his very good foot speed and good acceleration to react and come downhill quickly at the point of attack for his assignment. Good versus the inside run, using his speed, quickness, explosiveness, and balance to be in position at his gap alignment and has the quickness to outmaneuver offensive linemen winning with speed, using his hands and a shoulder dip to shed blocks. Very good versus the outside run showing very good range to cover the edge of the field with his speed and lateral agility. Very good tackler who can generate explosiveness in a half step to stop the ball carrier and tackle through him. Solid pass rushing skills and can be blitzed against IOLs and OTs, using his speed and shoulder dip to put pressure on the QB. Shows good zone integrity in pass coverage, with good ability to key the QB's eyes and step in front of the throw. Overall, a good prospect who has the athleticism to play at a D1 program and can be an early contributor at a DII program. Plays Linebacker but could be developed into a hybrid Safety/LB role which would be a better fit for his height and size. Good versus the inside and outside run, showing good processing to read and diagnose plays, using his solid speed and acceleration to fill his gap, and engaging at the point of attack with good balance and explosiveness. Displays good strength and use of hands to engage offensive linemen and a good shoulder dip to bend around them to shed a block. Very good competitive toughness, showing a relentless motor that plays through the whistle and will make tackles downfield to save a touchdown. Not enough film in pass coverage to give an evaluation. Overall, a solid prospect who will fit in a power LB role. Can walk into a DII or DIII program and contribute early. Could see some low-level D1 interest as well. Good versus the inside run, coming downhill to fill his gap with his good explosiveness and balance at the point of attack, with good use of hands to engage and shed blocks. Solid versus the outside run showing solid range to stop the run with his good lateral agility to cover hash-to-hash. Good angle processing allows him to be in a leveraged position against the ball carrier. Very good tackler who drives through the defender. Solid pass rusher on the blitz to put pressure on the QB. There are not enough pass coverage reps to give an evaluation based on his season highlights. Finished the season with 104 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 1 punt block. Good zone coverage showing good zone processing and awareness of the WR routes and the QB's eyes. Solid range in coverage to cover hash-to-hash. Good ability to jump routes to disrupt the passing lane. Shows good ball skills and the ability to catch the ball outside his frame to make an interception or to deflect the pass. Can man coverage versus TEs and RBs out of the backfield. Solid versus the run, with good balance and explosiveness at the point of attack when filling his gap. Shows a good shoulder dip to create a small target for offensive linemen, allowing him to use his quickness to bypass their blocks with good flexibility and balance. A physically tough player who can take on contact consistently and continue to play at a high level. In 9 games he had 74 tackles, 37solo, 13 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions (plus one 96-yard pick 6 called back), and 1 blocked punt. Also played TE on offense. Overall, a solid player that you can play in a pass coverage role who will also be dependable against the run. Very good tackler, keeping his legs moving through contact and bringing the ball carrier down. Solid versus the pass in zone and man coverage. Also played various positions on offense from FB, TE, and as a passer. Projects to be a Hybrid H-Back/TE role if he were to play on offense in college. Finished the season with 51 tackles, 10 solo, 8 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 blocked PAT. On offense, 246 passing yards, 3 passing TDs, 35 rushing yards, 4 rushing TDs,14 receptions, 245 receiving yards, 3 receiving TDs. Aggressive tackler who can lower his shoulder and stop a running back in his tracks, driving through him. Good grip strength to reach an arm out and slow a running back for his teammates to finish the tackle. Not enough pass coverage reps in his season highlights to give an evaluation. Overall, a good stacked linebacker who will be strong versus the run due to his processing of the play and his quickness and explosiveness to shoot a gap and make a tackle. Overall, a solid stacked LB who is versatile to be utilized versus the pass, run, and as a pass rusher. Finished the season with 81 tackles, 8 TFLs, 3 sacks, 13 QB hurries, 72 yard pick 6. Also plays fullback on offense, mainly as a lead blocker.
