The senior EDGE out of Mojave put together a breakout season for the 4A state champs with 79 total tackles, 19 TFLs, and 11 sacks in 2024. Strong, athletic front-seven defender that plays with great technique and motor as a disruptor. Vaimaona also holds offers from Madonna and Minnesota North-Vermilion.

Vaimaona, alongside star LB AJ Tuitele, helped form one of the most disruptive front-seven units for the 4A state champs. The breakout EDGE prospect racked up 79 total tackles, 19 TFLs, and a team-leading 11 sacks this season, including a 3-sack performance in the state title game. Athletic rusher at 6’1″/210 that can produce around the LOS with a highly effective combination of skill, physicality and motor to the football. He’s a disciplined contain defender, demonstrates power in his hands by ripping and pulling blockers off, and showed versatility lining up over OTs, OGs, and as an off-ball blitzer. Vaimaona- the 5th ranked EDGE in PRZ’s 2025 rankings- picked up his first offers from Madonna and Minnesota North College Vermilion in the fall.
