Ever since jumping on the recruiting scene last year with a strong junior season, Overton has done nothing but build his stock even more by staying consistent this Fall and developing his game much further. The Firebirds senior is one of the top athletes for the O-line position in the #TN2024 class and his updated film shows it. Overton is a mauler who moves well laterally, showing excellent footwork and the ability to stay in front of his opponent. He also plays with a mean streak and enjoys punishing defenders and pancaking them whenever possible. I see tons of value with Overton as I believe he could handle multiple roles across the O-line, including right tackle and center. He does need to keep forming his body and continuing to develop his bend and overall athleticism but I see strong interior potential with this Nashville area road grader to become a starter on the D1 level.
