#TN2024 Offensive Linemen
Perry is an established guy at this point with his commitment to Tennessee but after looking over his current senior film, this guy has a chance to become a stud and a multi year starter during his time in Knoxville. Where this Murfreesboro area offensive tackle has shown the most improvement is with his power. Perry is dominating opponents this year and now shows a strong transition from speed to power with his blocking. He anchors well then establishes good footing to drive his main into the second level. The potential has grown as well when it comes to Perry handling the blind side but I still feel his biggest upside resides at right tackle or even inside at guard. The Cougars senior has filled out very well and I believe will continue to shape his body and frame when he gets into the Volunteers weight and nutrition system turning him into the kind of player that can excel in the Southeastern Conference. Ever since jumping on the recruiting scene last year with a strong junior season, Overton has done nothing but build his stock even more by staying consistent this Fall and developing his game much further. The Firebirds senior is one of the top athletes for the O-line position in the #TN2024 class and his updated film shows it. Overton is a mauler who moves well laterally, showing excellent footwork and the ability to stay in front of his opponent. He also plays with a mean streak and enjoys punishing defenders and pancaking them whenever possible. I see tons of value with Overton as I believe he could handle multiple roles across the O-line, including right tackle and center. He does need to keep forming his body and continuing to develop his bend and overall athleticism but I see strong interior potential with this Nashville area road grader to become a starter on the D1 level. Possibly the most athletic interior O-line prospect from our #TN2024 class, Jackson is a smooth mover in the trenches that for one reason or another, has yet to find a college home but I’m telling ya, this guy can play! Scouting through his senior clips, Jackson impresses me with his explosion off the snap and into his opponent. The Tigers O-lineman has excellent bend and lower base agility along with active feet and the ability to drive his man down field. Jackson is such a good athlete that he could develop into the kind of lineman that might spot start at any position. He is more of a run blocker at the moment but you can see on film with his mobility and feet that his pass blocking can develop further in college with further teaching. Jackson must continue to put on more weight and form it properly to take on the physicality that comes within the college game but the athletic upside is definitely there that he could become a late steal for a D1 or FCS school. If you’re looking for someone who is flying way under the radar with D1 abilities it’s this Mid-Tennessee prospect. Borba was already considered one of the best center prospects in the state headed into the 2023 season but he has taken his game to another level. Looking over new senior highlights, Borba looks in better physical condition along with being more agile with his lower base while also increasing his technique and football knowledge. The Wildcats senior anchors well then pushes his opponent back until he either plants him in the ground or finds somebody else to block. Borba does a good job of releasing off a block to find another opponent while also showing the ability to drive his man to the 2nd level. A multi year starter at center, Borba could be someone that finds the field early in his college career due to his experience but also because of his high football IQ to possibly play all three interior O-line positions. Wren hasn’t been talked about as much this Fall as maybe he should. When you look over his current senior clips, what you see is an athletic blocker with a mean streak and the mobile feet to make it into the college game and excel. The Phoenix senior prospect handles a variety of positions for his team but mainly handles left tackle where on film he displays excellent feet as well as strong hands that can stun defensive linemen. What college coaches may like most about this Memphis area product is his natural athletic abilities that show up when he is asked to pull or block in space. He shows the upside to possibly handle the tackle position on the next level but at worst, Wren could move inside, gain more weight and develop into a physical, run blocking road grader. It will be interesting to see if Wren’s recruitment picks up over the next two months because this guy shows excellent potential as a versatile college O-lineman.Senior Clips

College coaches are missing the boat on this Mid-Tennessee O-lineman as I feel Smith is a definite D1 guy with tremendous upside to develop much further once he arrives on campus. What stands out the most about the Mustangs senior on film is his explosive blocking and lower base mobility. Smith can get out his stance quickly and get into his opponent before he is able to gain good footing. Once this Lipscomb O-lineman gets his hands on you, he immediately tries to force his opponent to the 2nd level and finish by putting him in the ground. Smith is an athletic guy that could handle a variety of roles across the O-line with maybe his biggest upside coming in the middle at center or guard. He does need to continue packing on more weight while adding more muscle but the frame is there for it along with gameplay that I think will improve much more with collegiate coaching. Senior Clips

A mauler with mobility and football intelligence, Beemer has taken advantage of his senior year but pushing his game to another level and establishing himself as one of the better guard prospects from our #TN2024 class. Where Beemer has taken another step with his game is in his athleticism and overall mobility. The Big Red senior has improved his movements off the ball, showing better bend and more explosion when finishing. He needs to continue working on his athleticism but you can see the improvement on film and I believe it’s turned him into a FCS, possible low-level D1 player. Beemer has the size, strength, powerful hands and playing experience to push for early playing time once he arrives on a college campus. It will be interesting to see where his recruitment goes from here and if any bigger schools look to get involved with this Mid-Tennessee talent. Senior Clips

Many people may not know too much about this Mid-Tennessee O-lineman but if you watch his new senior clips, what you will see is a 6’5 prospect with a good body, arm length and the mobility to contend on the college level. Pearson is a big dude with a nice frame that can take on more weight but what I like about this senior product is his physical competitiveness and lower base mobility. The Rebels senior O-lineman moves well off the snap then locks on to his defender and works at pushing him down field. Pearson shows good bend on film along with natural strength that stone walls his opponents. He can also block in open space, which tells me he could play tackle on the next level but maybe his upside resides best inside at guard. Maybe it’s too late in the process for Pearson to gain enough traction for the D1 and even FCS level but I would take a flier on this guy as I see good upside with him and the ability to play multiple O-line positions. Nobody on this list has improved their body or game more than Bosen as he has turned himself into a legit FCS level recruit that could see a spike in his recruitment over the next months. A massive young man with O-line versatility, Bosen has vastly improved his overall athleticism and lower body agility and it shows on film. He demonstrates on tape the ability to stonewall an opponent then quickly adjust to pick up somebody else. Bosen has increased his football knowledge as he now understands how to pick up stunts or adjust his body towards slowing down the pass rush. He is still more suited right now to work best blocking the run but the Raptors senior O-lineman has developed himself enough to be just fine in slowing down the pass rush as well. Bosen has not made it and he still has plenty to work on but whatever he is doing is working because he now looks like a bonafide college prospect that I know for a fact will continue to get better. Physical, nasty and mobile are the first three things you notice when looking over film of this Knoxville area senior O-lineman. Standing 6’5 270 pounds plus, Goodwin fits the bill when it comes to college size and the frame to pack on more weight but he sits under the radar at the moment but is someone worth taking a longer look into. What I like about Goodwin is his strong competitive nature to physically manhandle his opponents while playing through the whistle. He is a good athlete too that can continue developing further in his area with maturity and continued work on the next level. Goodwin shows upside to possibly stay outside at tackle in the college game but at worst, you can move him inside and use his physicality with an approach to running the ball. This Knoxville area O-lineman has the talent and upside to be looked into much further as I feel Goodwin’s best football could be ahead of him. Senior Clips
