Jackson jumped on my radar this offseason and appears next in line to emerge as a premier player out of Kell. When watching him in practice, I was impressed with what he could do after the catch. He is a quick-twitch athlete who is quick to his top gear and just runs by people, which will translate as a route runner, too. His body control down the field flashes at times, but we will get a better read for how well-rounded his game is once August comes around.

One of the top young wide receivers in Georgia, Jackson is a sure-handed pass-catcher who can run, jump, and make a play on the football. He’s a fluid runner with good footwork and the ability to make a quick move to separate from defensive backs. Just a freshman last year, Jackson was able to see the field and made it clear he’s looking to make a giant impact in year two next fall. He’s for the size at 6-foot-2 180-pounds, natural athleticism, and the potential to be one of the best in Cobb County next season in the 2029 class. At some point his recruitment will take off, and it could be this time next year with a big sophomore season.

A Cobb County freshman wideout who could have every offer in the book down the road, Jackson doesn’t look or play like your typical freshman. He brings a promising 6-foot-2 180-pound frame with terrific ball skills and the ability to soar in the air to catch the football over smaller defenders. He’s a mismatch in single coverage down the field who tracks the ball well and secures it as well as any freshman receiver in the area. His recruitment has already taken off with new offers this month from Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Wake Forest and Pitt. Don’t be surprised if he has a big boost in the next 2029 Prep Redzone rankings.

Jackson has great size and ability at the receiver spot and I do believe with the combination of every great quality he possesses is what’s going to eventually seperate him from many in his class of 2029 in not only Georgia but across the entire landscape as long as he takes in the further development.

Extremely dangerous in open field and a very elusive runner with the ball. Just about every time Jackson touches the football it’s time to hold your breath because he puts a lot of pressure on defenses when breaking loose. He’s a tremendous route runner and will dice up a defensive scheme to try and slow him down. Jackson is one to certainly watch out for in this 2029 class moving forward because he’s as every bit as advertised with his ability to make plays.
