If you’re looking for one of the cleanest coverage guys in this area, this is probably the one you keep coming back to. Everything just looks calm. The feet are quiet, the hips are easy, and he doesn’t waste a bunch of motion trying to recover after the break — he’s already there. That’s the difference between a guy living on athleticism and a guy who actually understands how to play the position. You’ll see receivers try to stack him vertically or break him off underneath, and he stays in phase without grabbing or panicking, then finds the ball at the right time instead of just face-guarding and hoping. That “glue” feel shows up a lot. In press, he’s patient enough to not give the release away for free, and in off coverage, he trusts his eyes and closes with enough length to make quarterbacks think twice about throwing it outside. Could he be more physical at the line and really disrupt timing? Sure — that’s the next step — but he doesn’t need to right now because he’s already winning with positioning and control.

Eason continues to climb the PRZ 2027 rankings now at #13 overall and the third ranked DB in the class. 6’1” 160 lbs. he’s a physical and technically sound cover corner with strong skills in both press and off-man coverage. Displays consistent hand usage at the LOS and throughout the route to maintain leverage and disrupt timing. Shows excellent patience and balance in press, staying square with fluid lateral movement to match and redirect receivers. Flashes the all around game speed to stay attached at all three levels with the recovery speed to regain ground and get in position to play the ball at the catch point. Like his sharp plant and drive mechanics and explosive acceleration coming out of his breaks. Confident and effective in space, he shows a willingness to initiate contact and is a dependable tackler in the open field. Holds nine D1 offers to date.
9 Offers: ASU, SDSU, UNLV, Louisville, New Mexico, Nevada, Kansas, Kansas State, NAU

There aren’t many corners where you feel good about letting them press just about anyone they line up against, but Nas Eason is one of them. He’s got that rare combination of length, physicality, and recovery speed that gives him a real edge. Even if a receiver manages to get a clean release, Nas has the athleticism to recover and get back into the play. He does an excellent job using his hands early in the route to disrupt timing and makes it tough for receivers to even get off the line clean. Once he’s in phase, he’s got the footwork and hand placement to stay right in a receiver’s pocket and challenge the throw. As his ball skills continue to develop — and he’s already around the ball a ton — his ceiling is only going to climb. He plays with confidence and swagger, and he’s one of the big reasons that Higley’s secondary could be a problem for a lot of teams in 2025.

Eason should see a jump in his stock here sometime soon, as he recently picked up an offer from San Diego State and holds a previous offer from Arizona State. He’s a slender, twitched up CB with excellent speed and burst that excelled in Man coverage for Higley. Loose hips with a quick transition out of his back pedal to break on the ball. Violent hands as he does an excellent job punching and keeping receivers at arms length when pressed up- and fights through blocks to fly up and blow up screens or fill run when needed- and does so with a fast low point of contact.

Strong cover corner that demonstrates good ability in both press and off coverage. He’s physical throughout the play with good hand usage at the LOS and downfield to maintain positional leverage. When pressing he does a good job staying square and using his lateral quickness to mirror movement and force receivers off their line. A strider that can stay in phase on vertical patterns and recover when necessary. Plus reactionary quickness to plant, drive, and accelerate coming out of his break. Not afraid of contact, he can break down in space and be a reliable open field tackler. Ranked inside the top 20 overall and is the #4 DB in the 2027 class. Offered by Arizona State and San Diego State.
