Rankings Update: New Class of 2026 Defensive Backs

It was a no doubt decision to place him highly in this rankings update. Camden is a highly recruited player with offers from schools such as Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina. Camden has electric long speed, which is one of the traits that has him highly sought after. Also, Camdin has elite change of direction ability and breaks on the ball well in man coverage. Braylon is also a hard-worker in the weight room, a nice intangible to always have. Braylon currently has offers from Indiana, Troy, Coastal Carolina, Liberty, Duke, Virginia Tech, SMU, &amp; Louisville. Fast and physical is how I would describe Braylon's game, and it helps set the tone on defense for a very good Cardinal Gibbons program. There are several big hits, impressive plays on the football, and impactful plays on special teams on Braylon's highlights which reflect all of the college interest in him. Looking at his film, he is a safety prospect who can cover receivers in man coverage in the slot. Jacen shows the ability to high point the football in one on one situations. Finally, he shows the ability to run support off the edge and make solo tackles in the open field. The athleticism definitely translates well onto the football field. Josh's size makes him an excellent prototypical safety prospect. Josh has received recruiting attention and offers, as he currently has offers from West Virginia, Miami (Ohio), and East Carolina. When you look at him on film, Josh is one of those safeties that can come down and cover slot receivers in man coverage, but also can excel in playing center field, reading the quarterback's eyes, and making plays on the ball as a result. Josh also shows skills to cover receivers on the outside as well. Currently holding an offer from Charlotte, I think Zamarius needs more recruiting attention. As a safety prospect, Zamarius does a good job in run support and shows the athletic flexibility to cover receivers and tight ends down the field effectively. I interviewed Zamarius and his teammates at their county's media day, and I was impressed with how well-spoken and confident he was as a team leader. It's rare to see those intangible traits in a prospect, but that was a major plus in my book for Zamarius. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
