A Minnesota-based athlete that quickly grabbed my attention was junior RB Adam Glynn. The Byron RB had me following his group through the testing portion in attempts to see his reps. The 5’11” RB dominated each test and checked off a lot of boxes. Speed with a 4.63 40, burst with a 35.5″ vertical and 9’8″ broad jump, and agility with a 4.36 pro agility time. I went to the tape to see if it all translates to the field. In five games, Adam put up 1,000 all purpose yards, and the traits jump off the tape. Glynn is a home run threat every time he touches the ball, and is able to work his way from tight quarters to the open field with his agility and acceleration. The top 10 MN RB crushed the day.

5’11, 175 lb. Byron running back, safety, and kick returner Adam Glynn had a strong junior campaign and has seen the fruits of his labor pay off this offseason with recruiting graphics and contact from Wayne State, Augustana, Winona State, SMSU, MSUM, Concordia-St. Paul, Crown College, UMD, MSU-Mankato, Harvard, NDSU, St. Olaf, Sioux Falls, Valpo, and Carroll. Glynn’s speed was a game-changer to the Bear’s offense last fall, and he easily & consistently took the edge and the corner on opposing defenses in 2022. With good vision to boot, Glynn created some big runs and splash plays without having to deal with a lot of contact, leading to some of those huge runs finishing with Glynn more than 5-10 yards from the nearest defender. Also possesses a strong lower body that can bounce weaker tackle attempts off his legs when Glynn positions his body and pad level correctly.

. What did we like about the Prep Redzone Minnesota showcase alum? Adam has improved with his agility since we last scouted him in the Spring and put his moves to good use in the Indy drills at the Winona State prospect camp. Adam shows off a north-south runner, but there is some upside to watching his physicality churn out with his inside running game. There certainly was more some development work put in this offseason with his footwork, and it makes me excited to see what kind of junior season Adam puts together with his added growth this offseason.
