The camp brought out 250+ prospects that got to show off their talents, see the beautiful, high end facilities, and take in the whole campus. Many of those 250 athletes caught my eyes with their performance throughout the testing, agility, positional, and one on one portions of the event. In this series of articles I will highlight those standouts. Let’s get it started!
Jaydin had a great day at the UW River Falls football camp. He showed up in my notes during multiple portions of the camp. He first stood out was during agility portion of the day. I found this to be a very useful part of the day. The athletes weren’t in pads, so these drills gave us a great chance to see the body control, agility, change of direction, and burst. Redding caught my eyes because those traits stood out among his group of campers. Jaydin’s flexibility allowed him to bend, recoil, and accelerate when asked to change direction quickly. Redding made the agility drills look easy. He had a great day.
A Minnesota-based athlete that quickly grabbed my attention was junior RB Adam Glynn. The Byron RB had me following his group through the testing portion in attempts to see his reps. The 5’11” RB dominated each test and checked off a lot of boxes. Speed with a 4.63 40, burst with a 35.5″ vertical and 9’8″ broad jump, and agility with a 4.36 pro agility time. I went to the tape to see if it all translates to the field. In five games, Adam put up 1,000 all purpose yards, and the traits jump off the tape. Glynn is a home run threat every time he touches the ball, and is able to work his way from tight quarters to the open field with his agility and acceleration. The top 10 MN RB crushed the day.

A Wisconsin-based athlete who impressed me with his performance was the Arcadia WR. The 6’1″ 175 lbs junior ran 4.68, broad jumped 9’4.5″, and vertical jumped just over 33.5″. His strong testing sent me back to his tape after the camp and liked what I saw. Jordan’s highlights solid ball tracking, and soft hands allowing him to make difficult catches outside his frame. He also made multiple catches through contact. Look for him to rise up the rankings during our next update. It was great getting to see him in person, and watching him stand out in a group this big.

Riley Pearce
Riley Pearce
An under the radar MN RB that dominated among the RBs was the Two Rivers athlete. Riley checked in at 5’9″ 196 lbs, and then used that compact, powerful frame to dominate the testing portion of the day. He ran a blazing 4.56 40, broad jumped 9’8.5″, and vertical jumped 33.4″. Riley also impressed me during the agility drills with how quickly he reacted, flipped his hips, and burst out of his change of direction. His quick, choppy feet allowed him to make those quick twitch reactive moves. On tape, Riley played both ways for Two Rivers. He actually made a bigger impact at LB/DE where he demonstrated impressive strength to go along with his athletic profile. He is an athlete to know, especially for the D3 level.
Nate Barnard
Nate Barnard
The 5’11” 265 lbs OL grabbed my attention and impressed me over and over. He made the trip from Arizona well worth it. I came away very impressed with the big man’s body control and light feet. He looked comfortable changing “pad level” as he changed direction. Nate’s strong body control kept him square over his toes while showing off the agility. In the one on ones, Nate played with active hands, and was able to quickly set his anchor at the OC position. On tape, Barnard shows off his range and ability to land blocks out in space. Check out his tape below.
Another Minnesota-based standout was the WR/TE Eli Thompson Eli Thompson 6’5″ | QB Notre Dame College Prep | 2025 IL . The 6’2″ 195 lbs junior impressed me in person, and on tape. A major similarity I saw between the two was how Eli does a very good job of attacking the football in the air when he goes to catch it. He doesn’t wait. Instead he goes and gets it. Multiple times he also had to fight through contact to do so. His strong hands and concentration give him the ability to fight through that contact to secure the catch. Eli also brings 4.80 40 speed to the field, but where he really shined was with his short area burst. It showed up in the agility drills where he had to made repeated sharp cuts. It also showed up in his route running. He is able to create separation with that short area burst. Check out Eli’s highlights below.
