A lot to like about Stokes’ skillset with his combination of length, athleticism, and ball skills. At 6’4” 190 lbs. he possesses the ideal frame for the position with plus growth potential to add mass. A big play threat that is a weapon downfield with his ability to go up and compete for the ball at the high point. Times out his jump and extends to go over the top of defenders. Good ability to make the contested catch in traffic and flashes good concentration to play the ball with defenders closing in. Deceptive straight line speed allows him to push vertically and run by coverage. Tough runner after the catch that can extend gains on short/intermediate level receptions. Committed to NAU and still has a lot of raw potential to build on to be a high upside prospect at the D1 level.
