Hummel was on campus for Nevada’s junior day this month. He’s one of the fastest rising prospects in northern Nevada this offseason after picking up his first D-I offers from each of the three service academies over the past two months. Look for Hummel to add some Mountain West programs to his current offer list over the coming months.

Hummel, the #5 ATH in PRZ NV’s 2026 ranks, just picked up his first offer from Army on Wednesday. The 6’/165 junior put together another productive season on both sides of the ball for Spanish Springs this past season with over 1,100 total yards and 10 TDs on offense and 63 total tackles and 4 INTs on defense. Strong, natural athlete at 6’1″/185 that brings tremendous ball skills and physicality to the secondary as a FS. Can dominate 1v1 matchups on the perimeter with strong hands and high-point ability as a WR. Hummel- a two-sport athlete in football and basketball- should start to gain some traction on the D-I recruiting trail with his first offer in hand.
