Class of 2027 Rankings Review Virginia 6-10

<p>Virginia is moving on up and we have new class of 2027 rankings with over 365 kids for you to view. I broke down the top 5 yesterday. Placing 6 through 10 are an evaluation on them below a very deep and talented group:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Number 6th is Rye Cove big man [player_tooltip player_id='401056' first='Ethan' last='Lawson'] who would probably be top 5 ranked in many surrounding states if were being honest. Holding offers already from Eastern Kentucky and UVA Wise, Lawson comes at quickly on the Eagles offensive line. My colleague Cole Laing has a good breakdown on him right here:</p>   <p><em>than currently has solid height and very good size for an offensive tackle at the next level, but I would not be shocked if he continues to grow. His film shows very good strength along with good hand quickness and balance. He shows good processing and understanding of where to set himself up to engage a block with very good initial footwork. He creates good leverage and has very good explosiveness in Gap blocking with good sustain and drive on his blocks. His initial footwork allows him to Reach block EDGE defenders and has good hand placement to engage and sustain the block. Good pass protector with good set points to keep a half-man relationship in vertical sets with very good strength to anchor and halt the rush. As a freshman, he was honored with </em><a href="https://twitter.com/BigELawson/status/1730227002530017521" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">1st-Team All-District and Conference</a><em> as well as </em><a href="https://twitter.com/BigELawson/status/1732798333519843744" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2nd-Team All-Southwest Virginia</a></p>   <p></p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Chalkley is a man amongst boys at times on Manchester's defensive line, he flies right off the snap. 6'3 and 220 lbs. of solid muscle [player_tooltip player_id='1170677' first='Camden' last='Chalkley'] is a force at defensive end for the Lancers. Four division 1 offers and counting, the young man gets after the opposing linemen low and great arm extension. Patterson is downright explosive with the ball in his hands, at 6'4 and 180 lbs. he runs like a Power five football player. Close to 10 offers and counting he will be a downfield threat/nightmare in Class 5.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/_kasirpatterson/status/1785006040506827004 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Playing for Bruton High School receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1311469' first='Anthony' last='Henderson Jr.'] is a game changer. Henderson has a big long lanky frame and is perfect for a 50/50 ball. He can create separation and even with his somewhat smaller frame is not afraid to get physical and take a hit. </p>   <p>Close to 10 offers thus far, Henderson will be a Power 5 wideout when all is said and done. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/AJHenderson11k/status/1763010803798511744 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">He is our 10th ranked prospect, number 1 for Athletes and has a strong argument to be our top ranked quarterback for his class too. Maury's [player_tooltip player_id='447439' first='Matt' last='Williams'] is a tremendous dual threat athlete that does everything for the Commodores. </p>   <p>At safety or defensive back he's too strong and technically sound to create separation from. He covers a lot of ground, you can see how he reads opposing quarterbacks eyes very impressed. </p>   <p>Playing quarterback at Maury, Williams has a nice touch on his deep ball and is very elusive in the pocket.
