Due to the size of the 7 on 7 event, I really was only able to scout 1 pool to make sure I got some solid analysis. In that pool was Williamston, Warren Michigan Collegiate, East Kentwood and Lansing Everett. In this article I'm going to highlight who some of the standouts were and who put me on notice!

| Tayeden Redding | 2026 | WR/DB | Warren Michigan Collegate |

Redding proved to be one of the best DBs on the field when I was watching him. He was very technically sound, he did a really good job of playing the ball cleanly, and multiple times he was tested on a fade route in the end zone and he denied it. His motion is fluid, he does a great job of staying square and not getting caught off guard. Redding will be a very hot commodity very soon.

| Caleb Moore | 2025 | QB | 6'2 182 | Warren Michigan Collegiate |

Caleb looked in control the whole day. He threw with good anticipation, was able to be accurate both deep and throwing in tight windows short. I like his delivery and the power he is able to throw with. It seemed like he was very coachable and did a nice job of correcting mistakes immediately on the next play. WMC should feel very confident this fall with Moore at the helm.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1316957' first='Jacob' last='Moore'] | 2025 | WR/DB | 5'9 155 | Warren Michigan Collegiate |

This kid can flat out fly. He's insanely fast, he cuts on a dime, and when he gets out in the open field, he is absolutely electrifying. He has sure hands, does a nice job of running his route with detail, and shows off his ability to make contested catches look easy. Keep an eye out for him in 2024.

| [player_tooltip player_id='570285' first='Kayd' last='Coffman'] | 2026 | QB | 6'2 187 | East Kentwood |

East Kentwood has to be absolutely pumped that Kayd is a Falcon. Kayd looked the part on Friday. He was poised, delivering accurate balls with a ton of zip, and was good with touch passes when it was required. The ball came off his hand clean with a perfect spiral and was able to throw some receivers open. East Kentwood is absolutely on my list of teams to see this fall with Kayd commanding the offense.

| Owen van der Veen | 2026 | WR | 6'5 205 | East Kentwood |

The fact that Kayd and Owen are going to be playing together for the next 2 years should worry defenses. Owen is a big bodied receiver that was extremely tough to guard. He showed off some great concentration to make some absurd catches, it looks like he has improved his athleticism a bit, and his hands continue to look better. This was by far the best that I have seen Owen perform, and it gets me really excited for his development.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1225692' first='Thomas' last='Pratt'] | 2026 | WR | 6'5 180 | Williamston |

Another 2026 big bodied receiver that stood out was Tommy Pratt. He has a very nice release, does a good job of running his route with great detail, and he was able to use his big body and athleticism to box out his defender and make tough catches. Coaches raved to me how good he was, and he showed up and showed out all day. I had a blast watching what he had to offer, and look forward to keeping track of his development.

| [player_tooltip player_id='603746' first='Mason' last='Chadwell'] | 2025 | 6'0 187 | Lansing Everett |

I'm not surprised by what I saw, but he very much so stuck out as one of the best receivers on the property once again. His release is near flawless, his footwork is tricky and smooth, and he did a great job of making the most of his targets. Teams knew he was going to be a favorite target, but that didn't stop his production whatsoever. Another nice day for Mason, and I'm starting to get a real good handle on what his ceiling could be.
