RIVER FALLS-- Zooming into Part III of my standouts from the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp in River Falls, this group is one the strongest groups for next-level talent I felt we have had so far. Several offers have gone out amongst this list already, and most came from camp too! But this group also has 2026 prospects on the rise from my eyes that popped out and both I would give out next-level grades to. Let's meet Part III.

Bruce was one of the early standouts that appeared on my notepad out of Tomah, WI. For 6'0 200 pounds, Bruce impressed me most with his length of his lower body as he popped outside the threshold for his size. Loved how persistent Bruce was too with his attention to detail from coaching to attack the hip. What also was apparent in River Falls was this young man's vision as his reads downhill showed off a wirey release and showed off good instincts. Those strides certainly pop out on tape, as Bruce gets from sideline to sideline and plays with the physical nature you want in your linebacking core at the next level. Great eval was done by a few WIAC schools giving him his first offers and I am sure there could be more attention upcoming.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599756' first='Hayden' last='Buckel'], LB/ATH, St. Croix Central, WI 2025 Twitter

The well-seen and reactive ball instincts tell the report for the 6'1 200 pound linebacker out of St. Croix Central [player_tooltip player_id='1599756' first='Hayden' last='Buckel']. Hayden also showed good timing in the reps I caught when he unlocks his hands off the defender in which I saw upside growing with his pad-level with his hands from rep one to rep two which showed off the quick development of a LB prospect that has a 3.9 GPA in the classroom. His tape also shows poise with his ability to engage the ball with his tackles as he showed off plenty that on tape last turning the ball over to the SCC offense. He is one that could be a good small school prospect for the WIAC or the MIAC in my eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='402810' first='Elijah' last='Jackson'], RB, Middleton, WI 2026 Twitter

The 6'1 190 pound running back from Middleton showed off as a 2026 prospect that intrigued me in River Falls. I liked the long body type that Elijah showed off and had great athletic movement with quick change of direction running in the 4.4s with his pro agility and inside a 4.8 in the 40. Elijah shows off a rugged running ability on tape as he gets the hard-earned yards after contact as an east-west runner for the Cardinals. I certainly think there is more juice in the tank as far as Elijah's upside over the coming year or two as one that I already would give out a scholarship-level grade as an incoming junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='700211' first='Tino' last='Massa'], QB, River Falls, WI 2026 Twitter

I didn't spend much time with the quarterback group in River Falls, but the one that I did add to my radar was a hometown kid that stood out which was [player_tooltip player_id='700211' first='Tino' last='Massa']. The 6'3 195 pound passed the eye test with his frame that college programs want at the next-level and it wasn't just the frame that popped out. Tino showed quite balanced poise from my eyes and quick rotations with his reads which showed off as one of the best I saw amongst the QB groups as far as those skillsets. He also established great touch on his throws and had a great understanding of using the proper arm strength with his receivers in 1v1s. Tino is one that I feel is going to be a riser by the end of camp season.

The next Western Wisconsin prospect that popped out right up the road in River Falls is Somerset 2025 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='167622' first='Sawyer' last='Fox']. I was impressed with Sawyer's route-running as he did a solid job tracking the ball down as his routes also showed off great fluidity in his 6'0 170 pound frame. He also showed off big strides off the top of his release off the snap which translated to good separation between him and the DB he went up against as a WR prospect that showed off a great work ethic fighting for position on every rep I watched of him in River Falls. He is one that I believe should get more attention this summer as a past All-Camp Team at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Combine as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='942607' first='Ben' last='Lemirand'], WR, West De Pere, WI 2025 Twitter

There is something in the water amongst the receiving core at West De Pere the last few years, as you can [player_tooltip player_id='942607' first='Ben' last='Lemirand'] as another one that drew my attention at the Minnesconsin Camp, and caught other PRZ scouts attention too. I loved what I saw in 1v1s with this kid's catch radius as on numerous reps he not only showed off his radius, but showed off some impressive hands with some of the highly contest balls he brought to to his chest. Ben also showed off balanced footwork with his route-running, and that smooth presence caught several college programs attention in River Falls. Impressive testing numbers too that my colleague Mark Johnson called out. One of very few prospects that got double coverage by our PRZ scouts with over 1000 kids in attendance, which is hard as heck to do. Probably

One of my favorite prospects near my neck of the woods also shined at the Minnesconsin MEGA Camp which was Elk River's [player_tooltip player_id='743260' first='Gavin' last='Schmidt']. Gavin I thought was the most efficient linebacker prospect as far as how physical he was attacking the hip in drills. The smooth balance with his footwork and playing in control has always been a draw in my eyes with Gavin and that was certainly shown in River Falls. He has always shown off a prospect that is very coachable and has excellent character as I can't say I am surprised his recruiting has sky-rocked this summer, as I saw it coming what feels like years ago already!
