ne of the top linebackers from Day 1 of the Gardner-Webb Mega Camp was Khali Charles. The physical linebacker made his presence felt throughout the event with his downhill mentality and aggressive style of play. Charles is a true bruiser at the position, attacking every rep with intensity and showing little hesitation when it comes to filling gaps or taking on contact.

His strength and power were evident from the start, allowing him to play through blocks and finish plays with authority. Charles thrives moving downhill, where his instincts and physicality become major assets. With his combination of toughness, strength, and relentless motor, he proved to be one of the most impressive linebacker prospects in attendance.

Khali is a player that I have liked for a long time, and he’s a fast-rising prospect going into his senior year, where he should be an anchor on a very good Chargers defense. Khali has picked up offers from Concord University and North Carolina A&T in a short period of time, and I think at the very least, he’s going to get some more interest to come his way after this weekend. Khali is physical and tackles well in the open field, and he moves well for his size overall.
