I had a chance this week to tag along with the TeamFyn Sports guys as they traveled to several high schools in the Northwest Georgia Area. They tested the players in the 5-10-5 agility drill, laser 40 yard dash, and the broad jump. Below are some of the Gordon Lee Trojans that stood out in the metrics.

[player_tooltip player_id='416465' first='Brayden' last='Stoker'] - 2027 ATH

The 6'2 185 ATH with a tall athletic frame has already received attention from UK and Ole Miss after a successful freshman season where he put up 1100 total yards with 11 TDs. He showed his agility in the 5-10-5 cone, putting up a team high and one of the top 5 overall scores. Stoker has had the attention of the Prep Redzone staff since his middle school years and is currently ranked the #31 overall player and the #5 ATH in the 2027 Class. Already gifted with good size, this rising sophomore will only get faster and stronger over the next 3 years. P4 guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='853294' first='Peyton' last='Groce'] - 2026 RB/DB

Groce is one of the most underrated prospects in the NWGA Area. He put recorded a very impressive 40 time on the laser at 4.53, the best of all 120 participants on the week. That time backed up the 4.5 he ran at the Shorter and Prep Redzone prospect camps earlier in the Spring. Solid build at 5'9 170 and was named 1st Team All Region DB last season in 6-3A as a Sophomore. He led the Trojans in tackles with 67 and added 535 yards on 88 touches on the offensive side of the ball. Good vision in traffic and has the speed to separate once he finds a running lane. Natural speed with good upside.

Landon Norton - 2026 WR/DB

Norton was very impressive at the combine recording the 2nd best 40 (4.60), 4th best 3-cone, and the 2nd best overall Broad jump at 9'6. The 6'1 190 Norton has a solid frame and you can tell he has spent some time in the weight room. The rising Junior is now filling out his frame, having gained 20 pounds over the last year, while increasing his speed. Has good sophomore film, shows good vision and reaction time in the secondary. Good in run support and is not afraid to lower the boom on RBs. Norton was unknown to me prior to the combine but the combination of natural athleticism and play making ability on the field has him adding him to my Watchlist for 2024.

Other Notables:

Brisyn Oliver - '26 RB/DB

Productive 2 way player for the Trojans last Fall. He had 80 touches for 377 yards and 2 TDs of the offensive side of the ball and had 47 TT with 1 TFL on defense. Ran a top 6 40x in the 4.6 range and had a 9'5 broad jump.

Luke Teeters - '27 QB/DB

Teeters was 2nd on the team in the broad jump and the 3-cone. The rising Soph had limited action last year at the varsity level, 3 catches for 40 yards and was 3 of 4 passing for 30 yards, but shows all the promise of being a big contributor for the Trojans in the future. A gym rat that has a 245 PC at a 150 body weight. Was 2nd in the Region this year in the 100m with a PR of 11.18. Bright Future.

Gabe Daugherty - '25 DL

Daugherty didn't compete in the 3 cone or the broadjump but he did put up an impressive 40 time on the laser at 4.93, one of the only 210+ plus guys to break the 5.0 mark this week. Was 1st Team All Region last season and led the team with 4 sacks.

Jonah Davenport - '25 HB/DL/LS

The 250 pound lineman tested out well in the 40 recording a 5.34 which is best among the 250+ guys on the week and also recorded a respectable 7'11 broad jump. What impressed me was his competitiveness.
