He is the No. 22 receiver prospect in California’s class of 2022 according to Prep Redzone although he probably will be higher once the rankings are updated.
Jones is the fourth prospect in the 2022 class to verbally commit to UCLA. Two of the others are also from California: Jack Pedersen Jack Pedersen 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE Vista Murrieta | 2022 State CA (formerly of Vista Murrieta) and Croix Stewart of Benecia.
Jones is 6-foot-4 and around 200 pounds with plus speed who some scouts see as a tight end at the college level.

Top Trinity League QB commits
Noah Fifita Noah Fifita 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Servite | 2022 State CA of Servite (Anaheim) announced his commitment to the University of Arizona last Friday.
He is the No. 7 quarterback in California’s 2022 class according to Prep Redzone and the best junior quarterback in Orange County.
Fifita chose Arizona over six other schools that offered him. He visited the campus with his family a couple of weeks ago and has built a strong relationship with the new coaching staff.
He threw for 2,892 yards and 37 touchdowns with just four interceptions while completing 61% of his passes and two more scores rushing as a sophomore for Servite last season.
Fifita is considered by some to be undersized at 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds but he is the unquestioned leader of one of the top teams in the state and competes hard in the Trinity League, the best league in the country.
He is the third player from California in Arizona’s 2022 class joining Tacario Davis Tacario Davis 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Millikan | 2022 State CA of Millikan (Long Beach) and Jonah Coleman Jonah Coleman 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Lincoln - Stockton | 2022 State CA of Lincoln (Stockton).

Mater Dei linebacker heating up
Eoghan Kerry ( Eoghan Kerry Eoghan Kerry 6'3" | 235 lbs | DL Mater Dei | 2022 State CA on Prep Redzone) of Mater Dei (Santa Ana) picked up three offers this week.
Colorado State, Boston College and Arizona all offered the class of 2022 prospect Tuesday and Wednesday.
Kerry is very athletic and could be an outside backer at the next level. He was active in the offseason showcases and impressed scouts with his agility. He transferred to Mater Dei from Centennial (Bakersfield).
San Diego defensive back piling up offers
Jahlil Florence of Lincoln (San Diego) has picked up five offers this week.
Boise State, Nevada, Fresno State, San Jose State and Columbia have all offered the junior cornerback the past few days.
Florence saw his stock rise this offseason after shining on the 7-on-7 circuit and looking good at showcases.
He has the length and coverage ability to be a very good college cornerback but also could play safety if he hits the weight room hard. He may be the best defensive back in the San Diego region and he plays for one of the top programs in Southern California.

St. John Bosco QB picks up ACC offer
Louisville offered St. John Bosco sophomore quarterback Pierce Clarkson Pierce Clarkson 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA Wednesday.
Clarkson has been impressive as a sophomore for Bosco. He wasn’t expected to start with Katin Houser Katin Houser 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB St. John Bosco | 2022 State CA transferring to the school, but he impressed the coaching staff in the offseason and has been splitting playing time.
He has completed 23 of 32 for 406 yards and six touchdowns without an interception, while adding another 195 yards and a score on 28 rushing attempts.
Clarkson is the No. 12 overall prospect in California’s 2022 class according to 247Sports and the No. 4 quarterback.
