10 Prospects I Have Higher Than the Rest of the Industry

Here at Prep Redzone, we pride ourselves on providing exposure and coverage for all athletes, not just the ones headed to play major P4 football. Here in Georgia, there are several elite athletes and naturally-born playmakers that I have taken upon myself to track.   Here are 10 guys that don't get the love they deserve nationally.    [player_tooltip player_id='1132857' first='Turner' last='Davis'] is a big, athletic corner that has tested very well. He has verifiably jumped 10'4 in the broad jump and has also clocked 21.75 MPH on GPS. He is fresh to football and still refining some football-specific movements. He isn't the most fluid in the hips, but he possesses the straight-line speed and change of direction needed to remain in stride with WRs. He has long arms and broad shoulders, making him a candidate to step up and press WRs at the line, instantly manipulating them. He is still raw, but he is a big corner with athletic traits off the charts. As he makes his way through the summer camp circuit, he should garner plenty of traction amongst college coaches.     Zach Alvarez is a raw corner with impressive tangible traits. He is listed at 6'2 180, and having seen him several times in person, he is big. His footwork off the line and his instincts are developing, but he is a competitor on the outside, stepping up on WRs and immediately mixing it up with his length. At 6'2 and a basketball athlete, there is absolutely the ability to play above the rim here. Alvarez is a prototype body with solid speed, explosiveness, and change of direction. He is also a multi-sport athlete. Now, he just has to tie everything together and harness his physical nature.     [player_tooltip player_id='1007556' first='Christian' last='Smith'] is a well-covered player for us here at Prep Redzone, so I will just quote my most recent evaluation:   "With every watch, [player_tooltip player_id='1007556' first='Christian' last='Smith']<a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/christian-smith-3/"></a> gets better and better. He is one of the more underappreciated athletes in GA's 2025 class, coming in at 6'3 225 with long arms and impressive speed. He will project as an OLB, winning against tackles when rushing the passer thanks to his speed and bend alone. When he has to eventually develop more secondary moves, it should come easier for him thanks to his long arms. He drops back into coverage as a second-level defender as well, and flashes some downhill striking ability."     [player_tooltip player_id='1318501' first='Rain' last='Banick'] is an already impressive OT prospect with the developmental upside to be even better. At 6'5 290, he has more than enough mass and length to seal off the edge. He is quick off the line and consistently punches with good hand placement. From there, he has enough drive to bounce defenders. Play strength is still developing in his lower body, but he has the balance needed to regain his footing. He also drives his feet through contact, which quickly gets defenders in retreat mode and ultimately on the dirt. There's not a whole lot of pass set on tape, but he is long and quick off the ball, which should translate to that area of his game. Banick has FBS offers but I still believe he is being overlooked nationally.     Dyer is a stout, athletic 6'1 190 CB with D1 offers to his name. Dyer is an instinctive defender with fiery footwork, which he uses to mirror WRs off the line. He can turn and run well and will stick on WRs as they try to track the ball. At the catch point, Dyer is pesky and plays through the hands of the WR. At times, he can get bounced off his platform after pressing, but he has the explosiveness and recovery skills to quickly find his footing and fire back toward the football. He frequently undercuts routes on film. Dyer isn't afraid to drop his shoulder as a tackler, which should allow him to stay on the field for most downs.     [player_tooltip player_id='1199974' first='Brody' last='Craig'] is a young, yet physically impressive OT prospect with plenty of good developmental traits. Comes in at 6'5 270 and has the frame to easily get to 300 pounds once fully grown. Craig is a smooth, quick lateral mover, which allows him to shuffle in front of defenders and handle secondary rush moves. He gets into his pass set quickly and plays with a good base. At times, he can get out in front of his toes upon contact. However, he shows impressive bend in his knees and ankles, allowing him to recover and anchor down against pass rushers. Craig is fundamentally sound and has the athletic profile to shield off the edge. He should generate some P4 buzz over the next few years.     Gurela is an uber-athletic TE prospect with the ability to stretch the field. He is all of 6'3 225 and possesses enough speed and explosiveness to hold his own across from any defender. From both a two and three-point stance, Gurela is quick off the line and eliminates cushion. He has enough speed to pull away from defensive backs and is fluid enough in his hips to snap off routes. He is a strong-willed blocker for a thinner TE, aggressively impact-blocking defenders and violently finishing through the turf. He has strong mitts, plucking the ball over defenders and in traffic. Gurela is a better athlete than most TEs in the 2025 class. He doesn't get the love he should nationally, but he is still firmly on the FBS radar.     [player_tooltip player_id='1184353' first='Connor' last='Roush'], now up to 6'4 240, is a blend of raw power and instincts off the edge. His play strength is more than adequate, pushing blockers onto their heels and proving difficult to move. Once clear of blocks, he has good pursuit skills for his size and can close on the ball in a hurry. Might not possess the high-end speed or bend to consistently live at the QB, but he frequently gets a hand up to bat the ball down and can dent the pocket from several spots. Play strength and high effort translate to all levels, and Roush's game is built upon those attributes. He has picked up several Ivy League and D1 offers this spring.     [player_tooltip player_id='1556759' first='Ahmed' last='Souare']'s junior tape is electric. As a junior, he flashed the ability to make plays all over the field. At 6'3 190, he is already a natural mismatch, but he is a special athlete who wins at the catch point and plays above the rim. He is fluid enough in his hips to stack moves and weave in and out of running lanes with the ball in his hand. He possesses a massive catch radius, picking balls off the turf, over his head, and accelerating to a spot. He tracks the ball well and is physical enough to battle with DBs for leverage.     Dockery is a smooth, reliable 2026 WR prospect with plenty of production and experience as an underclassman. Dockery shined in the state championship game, flashing impressive ball skills all over the field. Dockery has some of the stickiest gloves in the state, flashing the late hands to grab the ball off his mask and maximizing his catch radius by reaching over his head/across his frame. He won't win marathons with his speed, but he has fluid enough hips to jump across the face of DBs and separate. Dockery might not be the caliber athlete of some of his counterparts, but his ability to catch anything thrown in his direction gives him a high floor. He should get a crack at the D1 level.
