Trinidad Jr. was part of Tottenville’s strong offensive line group last season, which returns multiple starters. However, of all the prospects, if Trinidad Jr. can take a big jump in his play, I think he will become a better college prospect and help improve an already very strong run game. He can play both OT/OG and show on tape he can hang against the better DL in the PSAL.
I think Trinidad Jr will bring more explosive movements and a more powerful punch to his game this season. On his Junior tape, he often eased into blocks with not enough violence. While he showed he could maintain and throw guys to the ground, his ability to sustain and control made him a quality blocker. Those stronger explosive movements and initial contact will make for a much more complete OL prospect across the OL.
