- It’s crazy how far Jack has come! Extremely impressive development in the past couple of years.
- 2025 offseason warrior. Turned a lot of heads.
- Got better as the 2025 season went on. Impressed with the performance against West Bloomfield in the playoffs. Is really starting to play up to his potential on Friday Nights.
- Hoping for another offseason of good health and continued improvement.

Another offensive tackle who just kept on working during the offseason. Like Eric, I have not yet done a deep dive on Jack’s season, but I have seen a few promising highlights. Jack’s all-around pass blocking took a massive leap in the offseason, and just about the entire MAC is on notice. Even better, I know a few Power 4 schools are heavily interested, including Iowa State, who offered Jack over the summer.
MAC floor, and a high Power 4 ceiling. Blue chip guy who I expect to continue to develop in the coming months.

is one of my most mentioned players
- Got the size. Got the athletic ability. Got the work ethic.
- Only a matter of time before his value increases even more
- Should bulk up now. He definitely will need to in college.
- Another box checker. Great offseason work, faces good in-season competition, balanced offensive scheme.

I’ve talked at length about Jack, and he’s currently one of my most confident evaluations in this class.
Jack may not have the offer volume of others on this list, but I know he’s worked just as hard. This is a prospect who just recently made the switch to tackle, and he’s shown a ton of promise. In short, Jack has good bend, great athletic traits, and is quickly developing his punch and overall instincts. The two biggest flaws of Jack are currently experience and size. Jack has the height, but lacks the weight of other Power 4 prospects. As I said earlier, he’s still relatively new to being a full-stop offensive tackle.
I am leaning toward ranking Jack #3 in this next update. He’ll likely be #3 or #4.

The more I watch Jack, the more confident I am in his trajectory. I feel that Jack was even overlooked because he’s a class of 2027 prospect (vast majority of non-D1 colleges solely evaluated 2026s).
Athletically, Jack is way ahead of the curve. His background playing positions other than tackle helps. Also, he carries his weight very well. A lot of taller players don’t have the muscle to move quickly.
Skill-wise, Jack has a bit to go but is still dang good. He gets good depth on his kickstep, has an accurate punch, uses his length effectively. Jack is especially good at blocking DEs attempting to win the outside.
Jack definitely needs to polish his game a bit more. Plus, D1s may want him to better fit weight preferences. As long as Jack shows continual improvement, I’d expect him to eventually earn a MAC offer.
Power 4 ceiling, GLIAC floor.

- Liked him as a DE. LOVE him as a Offensive Tackle
- Learning quickly
- Does an excellent job at locking out and using long arms to his advantage
- Moves super well for size, but doesn’t have great bend yet
- Still pretty raw, but got as many reps as he could
- Elite upside. Rooting for him in the coming months

I’ve talked about Jack quite a bit over the past year. He’s got the height, he’s got the length, he just needs to learn his style of pass rush. His leg length allows him to have a massive first step, and his arm length indicates massive upside when it comes to pass rush. He’s still pretty raw.
After this off-season, we should have a better idea if Jack can earn a B1G 10 offer or if he’s a MAC player.

Jack was as good as advertised on Sunday! The lanky defensive lineman showed off a great first step, tested really well with a 4.9 40, 4.53 shuttle (DL record) and showed his technique to be one of the best all around athletes in attendance. His long arms kept offensive linemen out of his chest during 1 on 1 drills and he was able to work some moves to get around even the most agile offensive linemen. Jack is going to have my eye over the off-season and heading into next season!

Jack’s size will tell you most of what you need to know about his potential.
So, yeah, Jack is very tall and has long limbs- which is half the battle when it comes to being recruited as a DE/EDGE.
As for skill, Jack is a bit raw from the little 2024 tape I have of him. In the future, I’d love to see Jack improve his getoff, hands, and overall motor. I will say, Jack has a very wide tackle radius, which is expected for someone of his size. He also has very high upside on the offensive line!
I’m still “wait and see” on Jack, but there’s zero doubt that he has a much higher upside and smoother path to being a D1 prospect than most.
