I left Kade Kostus Kade Kostus 6'3" | 245 lbs | DL Rockford | 2022 State MI from Rockford and Ashton Lepo Ashton Lepo 6'8" | 305 lbs | OL Grand Haven | 2022 State MI from Grand Haven off this list because they both have multiple Division 1 offers and are obviously very good players with size and skill.
Caleb Dean – Jenison – WR/DB/P/Returner – 5’10 175 – #7
Caleb is going to be a three year starter for Jenison, and has put himself within shouting distance of the career interception record, currently with 8 career picks. As a junior he returned kicks and punts, punted, played Defensive back, and slot Wide receiver. He is a savvy football player with a great feel for the game. He is an all around athlete who could play either side of the ball at the college level. Caleb is a two-time Mlive Dream Team selection, and I fully expect him to be in that discussion again during his senior year.

Dylan Ham Dylan Ham 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Hudsonville | 2022 MI – WR/DB/Returner – 5’10 165 – Hudsonville – #21
I love the way this kid plays, he has done a little bit of everything for Hudsonville heading into his third varsity season in 2021, and does it very well. He has excellent vision with the ball in his hands, setting up his blocks and always falling forward. He has the speed to beat you deep, as well as taking short passes and turning them into big time plays. It is very rare to see him brought down by the first defender that makes contact with him. He catches with his hands very well and doesnt let the ball travel into his body very often. On defense he is a ballhawk at Corner, and does not shy away from contact. He is lethal in the return game as well. Dylan earned several postseason accolades during his junior season, and I fully expect him to be one of the best playmakers in West Michigan during his senior campaign.

Zak Ahern Zak Ahern 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Rockford | 2022 State MI – QB – 6’2 190 – Rockford – #7
I am shocked Zak does not have a Division 1 offer by now quite honestly. This kid is an absolute stud in terms of keeping plays alive with his legs. He possesses adequate arm strength to get the ball downfield, and is great at moving outside of the pocket and finding the open receiver. He can stand tall in the pocket and deliver a strike as well as throw the ball well while on the run. He is good in the QB run game, patiently waiting for his blocks to set up before he explodes into the openings. Very interested to see his progression from Junior to Senior year and how well he and his team builds on their Division 1 semifinals run in 2020.

Jackson Buckler Jackson Buckler 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Grandville | 2022 MI – OL – 6’5 290 – Grandville – #70
Jackson has every bit of size to play offensive line at the next level. He plays in a very well coached, Wing-T offense, so you know his run blocking is legit. As always, he will need to develop his pass protection abilities, but he shows good enough footwork that I don’t see that being a problem at all. He reaches the second level and executes his blocks very well, even with seeing a loaded box most of the time. He can come off the ball and strike in the run game, with very low pad level for someone with his size. He also knows how to position his body to create the correct angles on his blocks. As with all juniors, his work in the weight room over the offseason has the potential for him to blossom into one of the best offensive line prospects on the Westside of Michigan during his senior season.

Caleb Paarlberg – OL/DL – 6’2 160 – Caledonia – #64
Caleb is a stout interior linemen on both sides of the ball, he holds his ground very well at the point of attack and is pretty athletic for his size. When he is asked to get out in space to execute his block he shows good balance and footwork, and then has a mean ability to finish the block. I love the way he moves his feet after first contact as well as how he drives his hips all the way through contact. Given his size, albeit not small, I could see him project into an excellent 3-technique at the next level.

Dayne Arnett Dayne Arnett 6'5" | 230 lbs | DL Grand Haven | 2022 State MI – OL/DL – 6’5 230 – Grand Haven – #52
Dayne doesn’t get all the attention that his teammate does (Michigan State commit, Ashton Lepo Ashton Lepo 6'8" | 305 lbs | OL Grand Haven | 2022 State MI ) but they form a powerhouse duo in the trenches for Grand Haven. At 6’5 230, he obviously has the frame to put on a lot of muscle as he heads into his Senior season. Dayne is very athletic for his size, getting out on the edge and making his blocks, as well as moving well in a zone run scheme. He plays some Defensive end, and I think could project on either side of the ball. I fully anticipate to see a vastly different looking version of Dayne this fall, after he continues to physically develop with hard work in the weight room.

Reggie Brown – WR/DB – 5’11 165 – East Kentwood – #11
Dynamic. With a 40 time recorded at 4.46, this kid can really fly. He is the type of kid who has the frame and raw athleticism to develop into either a slot WR or CB at the next level. If he bulks up heading into senior year, I could see him getting more touches on offense, and when he has the ball in his hands he can make plays. He can stick with anyone on defense and was asked to play a lot of man to man as a junior.

Andrew VanDyke – OL/DL – 6’2 200 – West Ottawa – #55
Andrew was honorable mention OK-Red as a Junior center for West Ottawa and will return as the anchor to the offensive line in 2021. As opposed to some other Offensive linemen on this list, Andrew played in a pass heavy offense, so his fundamentals in pass protection are more advanced than most at his age. He moves his feet well on both offense and defense, and with a year in the weight room, could be a late bloomer on the college recruiting radar.
