The run on OL hasn’t slowed up yet and neither has our talent to choose from. Carter is a top IOL talent with his elite frame. The big man is nimble and agile on his feet. He is able to pull and attack level two consistently. You can’t question the power he has to maul DL in the run game. Carter is also a multi-sport athlete who is receiving offers to play baseball at the next level to go along with the D1 offers he has earned as an OL.

. The 6’5″ 305 lbs lineman is the top ranked IOL in the state. His blend of short area burst and instant power on contact have made him a force in the interior trenches vs big DL. Carter has the quick feet to win the leverage and position battle in a phone booth or to pull across the formation and hit moving targets. The Germantown standout has the size, mobility, and power to play D1 football.
He holds offers from Northern Illinois and Sacramento State along with a baseball offer from Milwaukee.

Carter stepped up for his team. Usually we see him at center where he has earned FBS offers with his dominance on the interior. Friday we saw him out at LT filling in for

. Carter was able to hold his own out there. The natural power loaded into his huge frame still was able to shine in the run game as he could help open lanes and create some surge in the trenches. Carter also had some really good reps in pass pro showing that he could get depth and mirror pass rushers as they tried to get the edge. It was definitely new for the junior but he looked comfortable. Carter has made huge strides since last season and could see himself climbing even further up that position ranking at the end of the season.

Carter is very easily in the running for best IOL in this Class. He has a fantastic frame for the position and it is loaded up with the power needed to set his anchor and lock down the interior of the OL. His QB can trust that he will have room to step up, and Germantown RBs can expect to see holes open up as the line of scrimmage is reset downfield. Carter is so explosive in short areas too. He can get to DTs and take them on alone or double team up to an LB. Gordon was big, strong, and agile as a sophomore. So I’m anticipating a very impressive start to his junior season.

Gordon displays a natural burst off the line and immediately establishes control with his reach and lower-body strength. His frame allows him to absorb contact without giving ground. Gordon, also a junior at Germantown, competes with confidence in both interior and edge matchups. In drills, Gordon showcased consistency and awareness. He plays with urgency, finishes reps with intent, and doesn’t get caught out of position.

Coming into the event we were already big fans of the impressive center out of Germantown. Carter looks the part of a high level IOL recruit. He is big, strong, and athletic. He can win with overwhelming power and effort or he can beat you with his ability to get to spots quickly and understanding of leverage. The dude can drop his pads and get under his opponent, consistently demonstrated winning hand placement and was quick and violent when working to reset his hand placement. Carter is molding into a very well rounded 2027 recruit.

Stats: 100+ Passing Yards, 200+ Rushing Yards, 4 Total TDs
Carter looks right at home at the center position in Week 1. The massive lineman plays with the range to be able to reach DTs that are out over his guard. He also has great strength to set a strong anchor in pass protection, setting up a strong pocket for his QB. He shows great awareness to find blitzing LBs. When he is covered by a NG Carter is able to quickly engage with fast hands post-snap and is able to create a push on contact. The impressive OL is looking like he made a big jump this offseason and could find himself even higher in those OL rankings when the season is done. Don’t sleep on this kid.

. Gordon is a guard with a budding frame that has been able to make a varsity impact since he was a freshman. The massive prospect is able to create a big surge in the run game. His blend of quickness and agility in short areas, heavy hands, and leg drive allow him to overmatch IDL. Carter does a consistently good job of getting hands in an effective position on his opponents too. Big things are ahead for the Germantown OL.
