My top defender from the night was Sabastian. He has a big, powerful frame that was able to disrupt the opposing offense all night long. 52 comes off the line with force and active hands. That duo got OL off balance enough for him to quickly fly through the OL and create disruption. He also showed off his power and leverage to bull rush his OL into the backfield. Even if he didn’t get the stop, Sabastian was making impacts on the outcome of plays. It was great to see the senior DL make plays against the run and the pass equally too. He is a dynamic presence that is turning into one of the top steals and under the radar kids in this Class.

Another potential breakout athlete of the summer is the 6’4″ 240 lbs DE out of Oregon. Sabastian looks the part of a college edge defender, and is now publishing tape that supports it. The junior DE is able to find ways to get into the backfield over and over. He can win with power and bull rushes. Especially when he focuses on leverage and hand placement. Sebastian also flashes the closing burst to chase down RBs across the formation. The junior also does well setting the edge and staying the widest man when he has to contain.
