Christian is one of our favorite under the radar recruits to watch on tape. He is such an explosive athlete who is able to make special things happen with the ball in his hands. The junior had it in his hands a lot in 2024 while playing some QB for La Crosse Central. He finished the season going 29/46, 370 and 3 TDs through the air while also still delivering on the ground with 129/942/13. Christian checks so many boxes for an RB. Vision, patience, acceleration when he sees the blocks open up the alley. The game breaking speed is also there to turn those glimpses of daylights into six points. It is impressive watching him run between the tackles and come out of the other side of the scrum at full speed on his way to a huge play. The junior RB is an impact athlete that is a need to know athlete from this region.

A top west- central WI playmaker to have on your radar is the RB out of La Crosse Central. Rudrud spent time at QB this season and handled a lot of designed runs including making great reads running the read option. As a runner, Christian shows off an explosive burst of acceleration that gets him to his top gear. A gear that is able to pull away in the open field and get the edge on the defense. The ’26 RB/ATH plays with reliable instincts and vision behind the line. Rudrud is also patient right up until the hole opens then flips the switch to attack. The RB also plays with surprising elusive running between the tackles. You see him make people miss with lateral moves or a spin. Plus he will break 1 on 1 tackles. Keep an eye on Rudrud as his role continues to grow.

The top new prospect in the RB group is Christian Rudrud Christian Rudrud 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB La Crosse Central | 2026 State WI . The 5’10” 175 lbs RB actually spends time at RB and WR, but his table of traits perfectly fit the RB role. As a runner, Christian has a balanced attack. He has the vision and instincts to find or set up blocks/defenders. There is sufficient speed to his game for him to get the edge and beat defenders downfield. Rudrud has also proven that he has no hesitation when it comes to the physical side of the position. Christian will lower the shoulder without hesitation and finish every run trying to run through a defender. The contact balance is there to pick up the yards after contact. To completely round out his game, Christian is also a reliable receiver with soft hands. Give the film a watch.
