About Cael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Physical and explosive on contact.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Positive teammate with a friendly personality. I really enjoy the comraderie of football and hanging with my guys.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved in youth hockey reffing and coaching.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've taken a leadership course last year through school. This course is required to be a captain. I've continued this with leadership team meetings to help set goals for the upcoming season. I also mentor 3 underclassmen in our schools mentorship program to help them find groups or sports they may be interested in.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced an enormous amount of loss in my life with the passing of my friend freshman year to the passing of my grandmother, great grandmother, and grandfather this year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that really wants me and can develop me into the player and person I need to be.

It was great to see Cael in live action again. He shined during the summer at padded camps with the immense power he brings that matches his 300 lbs frame. The OC showed off quick feet to be able to get to his man and also position himself to wall off his opponent. When he locked those heavy hands onto his man he was able to show off that lower body strength and bulldoze DL out of lanes. It was also great to see him take a ton of reps at IDL, showing that same power and also showing impressive conditioning to be able to control the line on both sides of the ball. This was the best OL in a game that revolved around the trench battles.
