Set for a big senior year is 3-year starter Alvins Collin Alvins Collin 5'10" | 260 lbs | OL East Orange | 2025 State NJ . Last fall Collin was credited with 58 tackles (11 solos) with 12 tackles for loss and 1 blocked kick. I was able to get a sense for what Collin brings to the table by finding film from his sophomore season; however, I could not find anything from last fall. On defense Collin gets off the ball quickly. He also has shown, more often than not, to get hands on the man in front of him. Adding to that skillset, Collin aims to finish with his hands above his eyes, gaining leverage and jacking his matchup back in the process. In short yardage Collin goes hard into the A gap and would rather thank than get driven back. Perhaps most impressively, we have witnessed him walk a center into his own frontside guard, thwarting any attempt to back block. Along the offensive line Collin is a reliable drive and on blocker. He is able to move down linemen out of the way and keeps working, displacing them either vertically or laterally. As he does on defense, I want to see Collin use his hands more on offense, particularly when asked to kick. Doing so will allow him to control his matchup more and serve as the precursor for the upward hip movement of dumping his matchup.
