He's a powerful IOL (OG) that moves well and does damage when attacking his blocks downhill. He does a good job of locating targets, moving under control, and closing the space to meet defenders with force. He makes good use of his hands to redirect and finishes blocks through the whistle. He's still growing into his body as an athlete and route-runner, but works the middle of the field well on intermediate concepts and made plays split out wide and out of the slot as a sophomore. He shows soft, natural hands that can extend and keep the ball from getting into his body as a pass catcher. Also plays DE on defense. On defense, he's a rangy, instinctive deep safety that can read eyes, anticipate play/route development, and create turnovers with advanced ball skills. He's a solid tackler in space that works downhill and uses field leverage to his advantage. On offense, he's a focused route-runner that can create separation out of the slot or on the perimeter, uses deceptive breakpoints to keep DBs guessing, and shows strong hands and physicality at the catch-point against tight coverage. He has quick, fluid release, puts noticeable finesse on intermediate/deep throws, and can place the ball into tight spots with great accuracy. He possesses the type of improvisation, arm strength, and ability to adjust his arm slot/angle that coaches look for in spread-type QBs.
