He is tough as nails, and it seems like he likes to come up field and make tackles in the open field. He also has good coverage skills. He seems to excel in man-to-man defense where he can use his speed and athleticism to stay in front of wide receivers. Tomei also does an excellent job when the ball is thrown his way. He is good at breaking on the pass and creating interceptions. Tomei film is impressive, and I am excited to see how he plays going forward.
