Continue ReadingThe 1st time I saw Qalil Goode Qalil Goode 6’0″ | 150 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2026 State PA was at the PIAA State Championship game. I was very impressed with his ability to play safely. He tracks the ball well as a safety. In his film, he repeatedly reads the quarterback’s eyes and goes and makes an interception. His closing speed from his safety position is impressive as he can chase downplays all over the field. Goode is also unafraid to come up and tackle in the open field. Goode has all the tools of an elite safety and I expect him to continue to grow in that area.
Justus Starks Justus Starks 6’1″ | 260 lbs | DL Aliquippa | 2026 State PA is a good prospect at both offensive tackles and defensive line. At both positions, he shows good strength and athleticism. When Starks plays as an offensive tackle, he does a nice job of run blocking. He is a mauler who dominates defenders in the run game. In pass protection, he does an excellent job moving his feet. At defensive line he shows off his strength because offensive lineman has a hard time moving him off his spot. Starks also does a good job of using his hands to engage with offensive linemen and ripping through their arms. Then Starks shows an explosion by driving through an offensive lineman. Starks is a legit prospect on both sides of the ball.
Dylan Rogers Dylan Rogers 6’2″ | 195 lbs | LB Montour Highschool | 2026 State PA is a talented linebacker in the 2026 class. He has elite tools to play the position. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
“Dylan Rodgers is a good athlete who plays linebacker for Montour. Rogers does an outstanding job of running sideline-to-sideline to make plays all over the field. He is also a good tackler in the open field. He also does a nice job of reading his keys and making tackles inside the tackle box. Rogers shows a ton of athleticism and speed at linebacker. He will get even better next season, returning as a starter.

Ethan Shearer Ethan Shearer 6’0″ | 215 lbs | ATH Central Valley | 2026 State PA is a good athlete who shows excellent strength. He showed a good ability to play both as a linebacker and as a tight end. At linebacker he does a good job reading his keys and then attacking downhill. He does an excellent job triggering and then making plays in the run game. He is also an excellent blitzer. At tight end, he showed he was a good blocker on the edge, but he excelled at catching the ball. Shearer ran good routes and caught the ball well from his tight end position. Shearer is a good player who should only get better.
Highlights
Teagan Tomei Teagan Tomei 6’0″ | 165 lbs | DB West Allegheny | 2026 State PA is a bulldog at cornerback. He is tough as nails, and it seems like he likes to come up field and make tackles in the open field. He also has good coverage skills. He seems to excel in man-to-man defense where he can use his speed and athleticism to stay in front of wide receivers. Tomei also does an excellent job when the ball is thrown his way. He is good at breaking on the pass and creating interceptions. Tomei film is impressive, and I am excited to see how he plays going forward.
Jeremiah Walthour Jeremiah Walthour 5’7″ | 145 lbs | ATH West Allegheny | 2026 State PA is a dynamic athlete who played as a cornerback and as a quarterback. As a cornerback, he shows good cover skills. He does a nice job on pass breakups when the ball is thrown his way. At quarterback, he is a dual-threat playmaker. He is good at running with the ball. Walthour has legit moves and makes defenders miss in space. As a passer, he is still developing, but overall has a good arm and does a nice job of throwing the ball. Walthour is a talented athlete who should grow more as a passer.
Highlights
Gavin Wilcox Gavin Wilcox 5’10” | 150 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2026 State PA is an elite cornerback who has excellent coverage skills. He is good in man-to-man coverage. Wilcox has position versatility and showed good man-to-man coverage skills at both an outside corner and as a slot corner. Both positions he shows a great ability to lock in and hold tight in coverage. Wilcox also has good ball skills and does a nice job getting his hands on the ball for pass breakups. Wilcox is an excellent cornerback prospect.
Cam Denna is a good offensive and defensive lineman prospect. At offensive line, he does a good job of firing off the ball and driving defenders off the ball. Danna also has a good stance and fires off well from his offensive line position. Danna at defensive line shows good strength and is hard to move off the ball. Danna has the tools to continue to grow as both an offenseive and defensive lineman.
