Jacoby Martin
About Jacoby
Expert Analysis
Alan Popadines | Prep Redzone Scout
As we stand in August 2024, Martin is top-3 Wide Receiver in the state of New Jersey for the class of 2029. He possesses an incredibly physique and elite track speed, clocked as low as a 10.9 in the 100m in May 2024. Has plated some RB during his pre-high school career, but now listed at 5-foot-11 and 165-pounds, his future is clearly as a WR.
Has attended a Prep Redzone Next camp.

Looking back at my notes from Saturday’s camp there’s one word I put in all caps to describe Jacoby; BURNER. This kid can fly down the field and flat out embarrass DB’s if he catch them with their feet standing still. Running a crisp 4.59 40 yard dash, Jacoby showed the most impressive top end speed for the day. The thing is, Jacoby’s speed alone is enough to make him an elite wide receiver. However, on top of the elite speed, Jacoby does an excellent job changing speeds and accelerating out of his break, making it near impossible for defenders to keep track of his movement. He’s able to separate himself from the defender any time he changes speed and tempo, crossing up defenders along the way. With strong hands to go with quickness, Jacoby can catch a slant across the middle and take it the distance. In my opinion, Williamstown is getting one of the top 2028 WR prospects in the state.
