After making Honorable Mention OL last season, Brady looks to take the next step up and be known as one of the top offensive lineman in the Bayside this fall. Brady is an athletic OG who’s got active feet and nice explosiveness. A high IQ lineman, Brady shows the ability to read rushers and take good angles to the defender. Able to reach and combo block, he uses his good lateral mobility to his advantage. He plays with some nasty as well, able to show his strength and bury defenders in the dirt. With good size and frame for an interior OL combined with his athleticism, Brady is prospect that continues to develop well and move up in the rankings.
– For the second year in a row, Gilliece was a standout on the Bayside All-Star team at AYF Nationals. Was a big kid last year on the 12U All-Star team, but got even bigger and longer this year for the 13U team
– He does a very good job of using his length and keeping his outside shoulder free. He does an equally good job of playing the run or rushing the quarterback
– I was on the fence about whether he was an offensive tackle or a defensive end last year, but after watching him this year–he’s a defensive lineman through and through. Once he starts to add on some weight, he could be a really nice 3-4 defensive end
