Joked around with him when I first saw him that I was glad he put down the basketball for long enough to make time for a football event–but he’s that kind of athlete. Haven’t seen him live since December and he’s only gotten more exciting as a player. In my notes from December I jotted down that he was built like NBA star Kevin Durant, but Dickerson is starting to add a little thickness to his wiry frame. In this game he’ll be spending the bulk of his time as a running back but will also be split out wide as a receiver, too. The potential in both basketball and football are big time, here.

-While I don’t have any legitimate times, he looked like one of the fastest players I saw during my time at AYF Nationals
-A nice chess piece for coaches to play with. Plays with a ton of versatility and can be bumped around from Corner to Safety to Wide Receiver to Running Back
-Long and lean right now with a wiry muscular build that looks like he will be able to really pack on muscle once he gets into a high school weight room
